Michael Maguire's Warriors suffered an injury worry over the weekend - the Australian's first match in charge against Crusaders last Friday went by without incident. But less than 24 hours later, hooker Mike McIlorum went down with a knee injury while playing for the Under-20s in a friendly against Warrington. The academy-product left the Orrell Co-Operative Community Stadium on crutches after suffering suspected ligament damage early in the match. He will undergo a scan later today (Monday) to discover the extent of the injury and how long he may be ruled out for. The setback could hardly have come at a worse time for the 22-year-old, who missed Wigan's three pre-season matches with a wrist problem suffered during training.
