Wigan Warriors Centre George Carmont is a doubt for Friday's home engage Super League clash with Hull FC at the DW Stadium, 8pm kick off. Head Coach Michael Maguire revealed to the press today that Carmont has a laceration of the knee and a hip flexor injury so is struggling to be fit for this weekends top of the table encounter. The Coach also indicated there could be some changes to the side for Friday after the loss to Bradford Bulls. There is a chance that Cameron Phelps may return after missing the last three with an ankle injury while Michael Michael Mcllorum is now back in full training and may have a run out in the Under 20's home game with Hull at the Co-operative Community Stadium on Saturday, 2pm kick off. Shaun Ainscough has been challenged to continue knocking on Wigan's first-team door. Michael Maguire has assured the 20-year-old that his performances while on loan at Castleford are being closely monitored. Ainscough has scored four tries for Terry Matterson's men in two games, to remind the Warriors' management of his finishing prowess.... [more]

Head Coaches Michael Maguire and Richard Agar have today named their 19 man squads for Friday's engage Super League game between Wigan Warriors and Hull FC at the DW Stadium, 8pm kick off. Warriors Full back Cameron Phelps returns to the squad after recovering from an ankle injury which has ruled him out of the last three games but centre George Carmont is not in contention this week with a knee laceration and hip injury picked up at Odsal. The addition of Phelps for Carmont is the only change in the 19 that lost at Bradford last Friday for Wigan. Hull FC coach Richard Agar has made two changes. Sean Long returns to the 19, having been missing with a hamstring problem since the victory against Huddersfield Giants. The other change sees Tongan prop forward Sam Moa come into the squad.
