Shaun Wane has confirmed he will take charge of the Warriors again this week for Friday's game at Leeds with Michael Maguire still in Australia for compassionate family reasons. Shaun led the side with the help of the other coaching staff and players to a 46-0 win at Hull last Friday and the Lead Assistant Coach will be at the helm at Headingley-Carnegie. Shaun told us, "It is extremely sad the circumstances in which I have taken over and we all wish Michael and his family well at this time. Madge was able to watch the game last week from home and was in contact straight after the game and I expect the same this week.." After Leeds, Wigan are without a game until the Huddersfield fixture at the DW Stadium on 15th August and it is thought Michael will return to the UK within the next 7-10 days. [more]
