Car Parking
There are 2500 spaces for fans on match days. The parking charges that were introduced last season will continue for engage Super League XIII. This means that cars parking on Car Parks 1 and 3 will be charged £4 per car, with a seasonal pass still available for Car Park 3 priced at £35.
Seasonal passes must be purchased in advance from the JJB Stadium Ticket Office and fans who have already purchased a seasonal pass should receive these by Wednesday. If this isn’t the case then they are asked to telephone the Ticket Office on 0871 66-33-552.
Parking on Car Park 4 will continue to be free but this will be strictly on a first come first served basis while places are available. Once full, the car park will be closed.
For 2008, new charges have been introduced on land not owned by the Stadium.
The car park opposite the Empire Cinema / Gala Bingo and next to the Red Robin Pub will now cost £5 per car with a pay and display system in operation. It is understood that cars not displaying a valid parking ticket will be fined and / or clamped.
Supporters are also reminded that they should not park on Robin Retail Park as this is also a private car park which is regularly patrolled with fines issued when appropriate. This area is also locked and closed outside shop opening hours. Fans are advised to take note of parking restrictions in other areas when they arrive at the stadium.
On Foot
From Wigan Wallgate
Turn Right out of the station doors, follow the road under the bridge. You can either turn right straight after the bridge and walk through the industrial estate but its a bit twisty turny! ( you just follow the road all the way down to a Peugot garage, turn right and walk over the canal bridge to JJB stadium)
But the easier way is follow the road past Wigan pier to a big roundabout near Asda. Then basicaly head to Asda. Robin park and JJB stadium is behind Asda.

Fans Guide
Until June 2009, the DW Stadium was known as the JJB Stadium.
The stadium is the home of both Wigan RLFC and Wigan Athletic FC, and is a multi million pound stadium built on the Robin Park complex. The opening of the, was the realisation of a dream for JJB Sports Chairman, Dave Whelan. After the acquisitions of both Wigan Athletic Football Club and Wigan Rugby League, the next step was to bring the towns' sporting clubs together in a fantastic new arena. This he achieved on August 4th 1999.
The stadium itself is an all seated complex, with a capacity of 25,000, and offers excellent facilities for both home and away fans. Unusually for a new stadium, this ground is not fully enclosed, with the corners remaining open. Away fans are normally located in the North stand (as opposed to East for football). However, unlike football, there is NO segregation and any away supporter can site in any stand provided seats are available.
The scoreboard is situated on the back wall of the East (Adidas) stand. Each of the four stands has two large refreshment kiosks located at the concourses level, where you can buy beers, soft drinks, coffee, tea, pies, hotdogs, etc.
The seating capacity of the various stands are listed below:
East Stand 7931 seats
West Stand 5814 seats
South Stand 5209 seats
North Stand 5209 seats
All 48 turnstiles are linked to the stadium's ground management computer, thus allowing the club to track the attendance of season ticket holders, etc.
Disabled Facilities
There are 276 disabled spaces within the JJB Stadium. Each side of the ground has 24 disabled spaces, therefore offering a choice to the spectator. All disabled seating has lift or wheel chair access ramps, and there are disabled toilets and access ramps in all stands.
There are also 40 trackside disabled spaces available in the North and South stands, with 50 trackside disabled spaces available in the East and West stands.
There are also facilities for the partially sighted and blind.
There are a limited number of disabled car parking spaces, which can be pre-booked.
In July 2009 the naming rights sponsorship deal with JJB came to and end and the stadium took on the moniker of the DW stadium, after the initials of Dave Whelan.
