Re: Wigan Warriors’ goal-kicking stance confirmed by head coach Matt Peet
Glad to see this. I remember how Pat Richards' all round play improved massively when he was given the responsibility for goal kicking and I hope we will see Keighran grow in confidence too. Think it well help Harry Smith too

Re: Derby Day!
Intense game, two very well matched sides going for it, a proper occasion and what RL should be about. Thought the red and the yellow were probably the correct decisions. Ultimately, that game meant miles more to Saints after our achievements last year and if we'd held on to win such a tussle when n...

Re: Wigan squad for Sheffield
Well we've certainly gone strong there. Thought we might see someone like Douglas given a debut or another game for Farrimond but can understand the need to give everyone a run out before next Friday.

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
Have just read an Australian newspaper article moaning about "home refereeing". I may stop laughing in June. I think if you look up the term "home refereeing" it says "Refereeing games like they do in Australia when they play teams from other countries"

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
Very much enjoying revelling in the bitterness of other club's fans this morning. You forget how much everyone else hates us and are terrified that another era of dominance is beginning. People can't even decide what to moan about. Last night I kept reading that Wardle had grounded the ball well sho...

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
A truly magnificent performance from the team. Every player who wore the Cherry and White should be proud of the way they turned up and faced down what Penrith threw at us. We may be missing a few more in the pack for our next game though. Brutal. As ever, when Wigan have won a big game all opposing...

Bill Francis
Bill Francis , one of Wigan's greats, passed away yesterday at the age of 76. He played 400 games for the club between 1964 and 1977 scoring 159 tries. He won the Lancashire Cup twice, the League Leader's Trophy, the BBC2 Floodlit Trophy and was unfortunate to lose twice at Wembley. In the 1968-69 s...

Re: Site updated
I do wish they'd do proper player profiles. Height, weight, place of birth, games played, tries scored etc. This is what player bios should be for, this is why someone would click on one surely, not to check out whether Bevan French has electric pace and dancing feet
