You've got "friends" in St Helens?! I know it's probably not their fault they live there, but still... poor you

Hi Stef
<t>Good to hear from you Stef, I hope you and your family are well. I've been moved about 2 months now. I can't say Manchester's better than Lancaster, it's totally different. Personally I'd prefer to be closer to the sea and in a place where I know all the little back roads in nearly every area ins...

Russians
<t>I remember during the world cup in 2000 we (Lancaster folk, before I became a Mancunian!) hosted the Russian team and invited them down to our local amateur team's clubhouse to watch the England vs Australia opening match. They seemed a great bunch of people, although hardly any could speak Engli...

Mr Brain/Super/Brill/The Greatest Pain/Whatever you're called today
<t>{quote}I feel it is totally unfair to label me as some idiot monster people.{/quote}<br/> <br/> Why? Your past record on the previous incarnation of this board plus the wiganrlfans board for ridiculous and occasionally offensive messages isn't exactly good, and anyway I feel your moderating skill...

drummers
<t>Although I understand some of the drummers and singers are moving back to the East Stand (middle-priced stand) for next year, which is a good thing cos it's been like a graveyard in there this year. Season ticket seats are generally between the 40m lines in that stand, although I can't remember a...

moderators
<t>Don't let Mr Brain bully you into letting him become a moderator, he became intolerable on the wiganrlfans site!<br/> <br/> I'm not sure if there are enough messages posted on here to justify having lots of moderators. With only having the one category for messages there are no issues of things b...

mod status
You could always moderate yourself if you're that desperate to be a mod. Such things don't exist on here, unless Mike the Webmaster does it himself. Perhaps moderators are like politicians and should take off to recharge their batteries with them having such demanding jobs...

GB ratings
<t>I wasn't there, just watched it on tv, and the ratings seem pretty reasonable to me although I was very disappointed with Senior and Gleason and would probably have taken a point off them the two of them and Pratt. As you say John, some of Pratt's game going forward was good but to fall for the s...

(OT) Yoda as RL coach!
'in the words of Yoda - finest RL coach there never was'. Don't know about RL, but Yoda would have been a brilliant coach at Yawnion: 'Kick, or kick not. There is no try'...
