Re: RFL Disciplinary

Pity I like watching Mac, it would have been a good test for Brad. In my view, the worst two decisions under the IFL tenure were to let Sam and Micky leave.

Re: Sam Eseh Jr joins Castleford on loan

good loan for him this as there isnt a reserve game til 4th May, so would be another 2 weeks til he got some game time. Ideally i'd give him 4 weeks there (if he's playing) then he's match fit and ready to challenge for the 1st team at Wigan +1 It will also give Sam the opportunity to see his famil...

Re: Jack broadbent

Strange signing unless HKR have got unknown injuries, I would have thought they would have been better served signing a forward.

Re: Squad v Castleford

Thankfully no case to answer so common sense has prevailed. By the way, there’s an interesting video on YouTube by the NRL which explains what is a hip drop and what isn’t. It is not common sense, Junior did not commit foul play. Just going off some of the tackles that have be judged as illegal thi...

One for the referees on this forum; was Nsemba’s tackle on Charbel Tasipale a hip drop? Thankfully no case to answer so common sense has prevailed. Re: Squad v Castleford

It will fall under the banner of dangerous contact and I'm fairly sure Nsemba's tackle will see him get banned. If Tasipale is out for a while it could be lengthy like the Cas players following the tackle on Isa. Both his legs leave the ground as he swings his body around which puts all his body we...

One for the referees on this forum; was Nsemba’s tackle on Charbel Tasipale a hip drop? No but I did wonder at the time and I thought Lingard was saying hip drop to someone on the sideline. I'm assuming it was checked at the time but Jnr. Didn't make any contact with his his legs. He may be warned ...

Re: Reserves v Cas today

https://wiganwarriors.com/blog/2024/04/20/reserves-beat-tigers/ Match report, note that we played Castleford and Bradford. It’s just a disgrace! I’m fed up of keep contacting the club to let them know about errors on the Official site, it’s not only amateurish it’s bloody embarrassing. 😳 Forgot to ...
