Re: Squad v Castleford
I do agree with the number of points conceded being a bit too high at the moment but, 14 last night and 22 at London when the team was tweaked is quite a telling stat. I do think, once it gets serious and we have the strongest team out on the pitch, the defence will be much tighter. It’s a long sea...

Re: Squad v Castleford
One thing seems to have been missed in all the analysis - though Josie touched on it by referring to changes in the spine: At any point in the season, we could have enforced changes due to injury. If this means changes to the spine, then Hampshire is first in line to come in. Yet he's had very litt...

Re: Squad v Castleford
My take. We went away from our normal game plan. We didn’t take the ball down the middle and take the juice out of Cas, we moved the ball wide far too often without earning the right. Velle didn’t police the ruck efficiently. Leeming’s dummy half play was poor. Field’s pace and threat gives the halv...

Re: Referee for Friday!
Exactly, Quick play the ball, like last week, and Castleford get blown off the park again. But, on the whole, Vella was much improved.Great grandad Harry ball wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:43 pm Agree, was much better tonight ( wasn't hard though!) but still allowed a very slow play the ball, with plenty mauling going on.

Re: CCSF
Just waiting for josie to rollok me to keep on topic I was actually thinking about it for the thread on Harvie Hill! The thread was about how he has come on as a young lad but some have turned it on its head! It’s gone from Tiaki’s older brother who plays in the NRL to naming almost the full team w...

Re: CCSF
That's so bad Josie. The fact that you have to go to the ticket office so often is ridiculous. Someone at the club needs to stand up and explain what is wrong and going on and be truthful about the extent of the problems as there appears to be several . I'm afraid the buck stops at the top . EW It ...

Havard, when fit, is one of the best props in the competition. Hill, who I really like, is not at that level but he has the potential to get there.

Re: CCSF
According to Google, Huddersfield is 76 miles from Hull and 41 miles from Wigan. Doncaster is 47 from Hull and 83 from Wigan. I guess the size of the ground is better for TV, and that cost and availability have to be factored in too. Having us playing at St Helens would cause outrage amongst the Ro...
