Re: Wilkin and Buchanan join sky sports team
i think for me if they can focus on the positives of the game rather than the negatives it will be a lot better. A lot of the time its, what went wrong for one team instead of what the other team did well, whether that be good defence or good attack that should be the focus, instead they seem to dwe...

Re: Martin Offiah delivers damning verdict on current state of Super League with major warning
For me its fairly obvious in its current state the salary cap isnt working to make the game more entertaining. Yes its stopping clubs (some clubs) from going bankrupt but my personal opinion is that its dragging the game down rather than help raise the standards. I have always thought that salary ca...

Re: Matty Smith
Im afraid i have no evidence just an opinion from what i have seen. Go back 10 years maybe less thinking back to the Tomkins episodes and it was no secret that every weekend the players would be out in town getting drunk, i dont venture into the town much now but is that still the case? If so how ca...

Re: Matty Smith
This is one thing that has always bugged me about RL in this country. I think the a lot of the players still dont understand that they are professional sportsmen/athletes, thats what they get paid for, be the best at what they do. Dont get me wrong i think the culture is changing but a long way to g...

Re: Next season
For me personally, im willing to give the coaching team a chance to prove us wrong, they deserve that at least. In the back of my mind am i optimistic about it, no. I see lots of stats trying to save what was a pretty awful season (with the odd sparkle here and there, lets not forget) and most now a...

Re: RL as a spectator sport
i feel the same with regards the stoppages, too many and not always consistently policed which causes more backlash. Is it a point that the more rules they have to try and combat foul play or other infringements the more rules there are to twist to the players own ends and cause more harm than good,...

Re: Wigan’s Magic Weekend squad
On the whole i thought it was a decent game. They had obviously tried to increase the intensity and for me it worked most of the time. KPP is going to be a great player, if he already isnt, Hardaker was doing things that we havent seen all season. A couple of gripes though, why do we never challenge...

Re: Wigan squad for Castleford
My thoughts on the game. I personally thought Cas made a lot of meters so easy especially in the first half, whilst we didnt seem to be able to get out of our own 20. I think our try line defense was the thing that won us the game really. I agree with the sentiments on Halsall, looks sturdy, KPP wil...

Re: Discussions on the future of rugby league held between RFL, Super League and clubs
I have often thought (to myself i would add) that a simple league structure is the best But then have a kind of champions league competition too where the top 3 of super league and NRL are added, the finalists of the challenge cup and whatever domestic cup the australians have and make that the big ...

I agree will all the above.
A winger i really enjoyed watching, tough runner, hopefully he has a plan for his future.
