Re: Wigan Warriors boss Matt Peet calls for changes in the Super League salary cap
If we are going to have the nonsense of a salary cap, and pretend that it wasn't introduced by jealous Yorkshire administrators wanting to bring Wigan down, then it should be a fixed percentage of a club's turnover, Say, 40% of the previous years turnover. Clubs would then be protected from themselv...

Samy Kibula
I see this lad is to leave yet another club at the end of the season. It's just not seemed to work out for the lad after showing so much promise early on. I don't know him, but I understand he's a nice bloke, so I hope he finds his feet and can settle down somewhere

Re: RIP Rob Burrow
Loss to the club, loss to Rugby League, most of course mostly to his family. Great player, great ambassador for the game, great shame....

Re: Warrington v Saints
Well I may be biased against Williams, because I've never rated him, but for me, yesterday, he did nothing special. His kicking was poor, and he missed quite a few tackles. He was ok, but I think Dufty created more chaos in the Saints defence, and Crowther worked his socks off. I know MoM is always ...

Re: Warrington v Saints
You can't exactly write Saints off, but they were poor yesterday. I can't remember a time when they had so many 'ordinary' players in their squad. Not poor players, just not up to what I think Saints standard always has been. As for Wire, they were the better side and look well coached, but the hyst...

Re: Warriors win Grand Final
Keighran was lucky to not see a red IMHO.. and for McNamara to somehow suggest that different rules should apply in big games is dangerous nonsense...

Re: Coaching
I started this thread, and I would be chuffed to be convinced by Peet and his team. I certainly can't be critical of results in recent games. Truth is, we've won nothing yet, and the crunch games will tell us what we need to know. I genuinely hope he does convince me about his coaching prowess...

Ridiculous signing in the first place....
