Re: Warrington v Saints
Well I may be biased against Williams, because I've never rated him, but for me, yesterday, he did nothing special. His kicking was poor, and he missed quite a few tackles. He was ok, but I think Dufty created more chaos in the Saints defence, and Crowther worked his socks off. I know MoM is always ...

Re: Warrington v Saints
You can't exactly write Saints off, but they were poor yesterday. I can't remember a time when they had so many 'ordinary' players in their squad. Not poor players, just not up to what I think Saints standard always has been. As for Wire, they were the better side and look well coached, but the hyst...

Re: Warriors win Grand Final
Keighran was lucky to not see a red IMHO.. and for McNamara to somehow suggest that different rules should apply in big games is dangerous nonsense...

Re: Coaching
I started this thread, and I would be chuffed to be convinced by Peet and his team. I certainly can't be critical of results in recent games. Truth is, we've won nothing yet, and the crunch games will tell us what we need to know. I genuinely hope he does convince me about his coaching prowess...

Re: Tonight's Match - Wigan squad for Hull FC
Not logic, and I'm certainly not in the know, but simply my opinion.... I'm of that generation that was spoiled by having started watching Wigan in the mid 70s, and then watched our rise to dominance in the mid 80s to the mid 90s, so maybe I'm looking for something that I won't see again in my lifet...

Re: Tonight's Match - Wigan squad for Hull FC
Got slated when I said this a couple of weeks ago, but I'll say it again...Peet is not all that as a coach. We will not improve under his term in charge. He might be a nice guy who can motivate his players /friends....but tactically and particularly attack-wise, he is not good enough...

Re: tyler dupree
I am a little disturbed having watched him yesterday that he simply doesn't fit our style of play. For his try he ran at the gap in the Leigh defence instead of at a defender and when he got through he didn't dive straight over the line but turned and ran behind the props, just hoping that these ar...

Re: Stand Off
We've got potentially the best six in the comp already. He's already meeting most of the requirements in this thread, his stats are good and he's still improving. What's the problem? The problem is that I disagree with you. We should have had the best 6 in the league but he went to Wire. I assume t...

Coaching
I know I'll get shot down, but I cant see how Peet is a good coach. We lack discipline, have little idea in attack, and game management is poor at best. He's had enough time to prove himself, and I'm not convinced....
