Re: Bevan French - STAYING or GOING (merged)

Has there ever been a thread before that has had over 46, 700 views and over 400 posts? It shows how much it means to fans, but unfortunately we still don’t know if we will have him playing for us in the future or not. You can only hope that if it’s true about his brother coming it means a longer co...

Re: Cooper

Thanks to No straw damn us posting a link to the stats, the total number of carries in the game by Wigan was 155 for a total of 993 metres which is an average of 6.41 metres per carry. Saints carried 207 times for a total of 1306 metres which is an average of 6.31 metres per carry. Make of that what...

Re: Referee for Friday

I liked Thaler as a referee but that was a truly awful display last night. Saints could lie on all night as far as he was concerned - he missed Roby's knock-on that nearly cost us a try - missed (or ignored) virtually every high shot and really insultingly, when Roby pulled (can't remember who's) l...

Re: Briers leaves for Brisbane end of this season

After just seeing his interview for the first time on Wigan TV l don’t think there is any doubt about his fondness for Wigan Warriors and commitment for the rest of the season, but l can’t help thinking that in a couple or two of years he will be head coach of Warrington Wolves. Would that be a wast...

Re: Bevan French - STAYING

I don’t think we have one. It would have been Judas Williams, but he went to Warrington for the challenge and to win something. Still, maybe they will win the relegation race — they are playing well enough.

Re: Cooper Joins immediately

Leeds Rhinos away, Hull KR at home, then Warrington Wolves at home. Can’t wait for that as Mr. Cooper may be bedded in for that one. It can’t do anything but help the way he’s left them as well.

Re: Luke Thompson

Would you have a bench consisting of Mago, Ellis, Cooper and KPP and let Singleton leave?

Re: What do we do on Thursday?

What worries me about the Hull game is the knack that both Connor and Gale have for getting under people’s skin. If we get the wrong ref who knows who will be available for the final.

Re: Tony Smith to leave hull KR

Maybe he fancies a part time job, say at Leeds with his nephew. Could he be heading for a Shaun Wane type of role?

Re: WIGAN TO SNAKE HELENS

It’s the unpredictability that make it such an exciting fixture. Both form and home advantage go out the window. I bet there have been more upsets and unexpected results in this fixture than any other. Underestimate the opposition at your peril.
