At least Hull's defeat means they are likely to finish 3rd now, and the way they are slipping, I am confident we could get a result at their ground if we had to in the playoffs.
Wigan for fourth! Saints have got Leeds at home and Bradford away and Wire away. All very tough.

Widnes Defeat has REALLY cost us.
<t>Hull lost again today going down 22-20 at Huddersfield, for their third defeat on the spin. Looks like they've hit their bad patch at the so-called 'easy' part of their season!<br/> <br/> We are 2 points behind Hull now with a far inferior points difference, so realistically we need Hull to lose ...

Re: Feeling a Little Bette...
<r>Yeah, it was so much better than last week, although I did expect it based on the fact that we were at home <E>:-)</E><br/> <br/> I actually thought the ref had a decent game. IMO, he made two bad calls, the first being at the end of the first half where a Leeds player touched the ball and we had...

Feeling a Little Better
<t>After the pessimism of last weeks post from your's truly, I have to say I feel a lot better after watching the Leeds game. The only downside I saw is yet more points dropped, as despite what Eddie and Stevo said, a draw wasn't the fair result. Aside from a period of dominance early in the second ...

Predictions For Next Year
<t>Over recent years I have always been optimistic as to how far Wigan will go, particularly this year, as based on last summers end-of-season run I really thought we would win the Grand Final for Super League 9. <br/> <br/> However, my optimism is dwindling... fast.<br/> <br/> Eight players are lea...

Re: Saints game & Pros...
<t>Yeah, I used to be a fan of P.Sculthorpe (well, as much a fan as you can be considering he plays for the Saints) but for a captain, he seems very easy to wind up. I saw two examples tonight, the first being when Hock gave him a little tap on the face, and he reacted with a meaty looking punch. He...

Next Years Team
<t>With all the released players, terminated contracts and retirements that are looming, I have a feeling our halfback Combo next season is gonna be Brown and Orr. Many people might be siding towards Brown in the Centres, but when you look at the fact that we have Vaeliki(sp?), Aspinwall and Wild on...

Saints game & Prospects
<t>Hey all, <br/> <br/> Long time London-based Wigan fan here to make my first ever post on this MB. Was introduced to the beautiful game of Rugby league by my stepdad (From Ashton-in-Makerfield) about 10-12 years ago and have loved Wigan ever since!<br/> <br/> Anyway, boring part aside, I thought t...
