Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Well I won't post some link to a left wing thinktank Instead, this site is about as fair as I have seen (and for other facts too) on the internet. The graphs pretty much support my argument. https://fullfact.org/economy/poverty-uk-guide-facts-and-figures/ So there's no food bank use in the UK. Or i...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Dave O, I'm not going to copy, paste and quote, (in light of the new guidelines :) ) But you are confusing Poverty with Inequality. Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

He's basically saying here that he doesn't really care if we leave or stay, its other stuff that's important isn't he? This is as close to honestly stating his opinion as we've got so far. I reckon his strategy is to go with a leave solution that is as easy to implement as possible and then move on.

Re: Super League’s Robert Elstone: ‘Wigan playing at the Nou Camp is a huge statement’

It’ll be interesting to see how he gets on,all big talk at the moment which is more it has to be said than what has been in the last few years but I fear his task may be too big to overcome in terms of really raising the games profile. Union certainly gets ever more watchable,at least in the intern...

Contributors to this thread (including myself) should take particular note of the Forum Rules and the new emphasis on warning and banning users for abuse of other posters.

New Year, New Site, New Rules

We've now switched to the new message board system so the site should now be more standards compliant and secure than the previous version. Along with that change, I'd like to try to reduce the somewhat toxic atmosphere that has developed on this site (and elsewhere) during the last 5-10 years. The ...
