Re: Wigan Warriors: The incredible stats behind Challenge Cup semi-final triumph to reach Wembley
A question for our tactical experts from a mere spectator . . . I've noticed that some of best performances come when we seem to spend much time in our own half and rely on Harry's kicking to get down field. WCC and the semi-final being two examples, Could this be a deliberate tactic? The thinking ...

Re: Super League in talks over staging regular season games in USA
You pick the markets with the biggest opprtunity IMO. Why try to "crack" very tough markets closer to home if you believe easier and more lucrative niches exist elsewhere? Fair enough if you think the easiest opportunities exist in communities with centuries-old ties to existing sports and...

Re: Super League in talks over staging regular season games in USA
Was there not a problem with the England game in Colarado where the promoters didn't pay the RFL the agreed fee for the game . The USA will never buy into something they can't control themselves. EW Some Aussie con man suckered the RFL into it. It was boiling and the players didn't have proper time...

Re: Walters on the bench
I don't like swapping Walters for nsemba. If Walters proves his worth I think serious consideration needs to be given to a Walter nsemba second row. It's a tough call for Peet to make though. I doubt we'll see it this season. But what an attack that would make

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
That's a point proven by the forwards. And they needed to do it, we were well beaten by KR last time out and that sets the record straight. A great performance in a match that means something. It bodes well for the playoffs.

Re: Albert Goldthorpe Medal Standings after 11 rounds of Super League
Also MOS used to be dominated by forwards, mainly second row, loose and hookers if I remember correclty. A lot of credit was given for workrate (or coming on for 20 minutes a match in the case of Roby vs Trent :x ). Looks like that era is over, and the stand out players are going to be mostly creati...

Re: “If I was in the job earlier” – Head of Referees confirms popular change for Super League 2025
Captains challenge - no problem, I like it. Live tries being given and then checked in the background - slightly confusing when they are denied after being clearly given, but OK. Live tries being disallowed and then what, being checked as play continues, then pulled back and given? Very confusing an...

Re: Super League in talks over staging regular season games in USA
Its a waste of time to bring a SL game to US. The sport has decided it won't allow any clubs from the US to join the league so why bring a SL game over here? The WCC has a bit more logic to it being a neutral venue for the game and potentially raising the profile of NRL and SL in one go. Now we have...

Re: BBC coverage questioned after underwhelming viewing figures
BBC may get the feeds and have their own producer I suppose, but I doubt it, they probably take the feed from the sky producer.
