Re: Best Wigan player ever and...
<t>Depends on the position really - you wouldn't pick Andy Gregory as prop, the same as you wouldn't pick Andy Platt as scrum half. The backs are the entertainers and the forwards workers (usually).<br/> <br/> Best player I've seen is Brett Kenny followed closely by Gene Miles.<br/> <br/> Current pl...

Re: REF's DECISIONS !!!!!!...
<r>I for one like to have discussions with other teams supporters, as long as it stays good natured. If it is just a case of who can throw the biggest insults, then this is pointless and not needed. We have freedom of speech the last time I looked, and don't think the comments by Wildcat to warrant ...

Re: Paul Cooke handed one ...
<t>I think it is more to do with not wanting to ban a player from an important cup game. We had the benefit when JS wasn't banned for an off the ball challenge at Leeds, enabling him to play at Saints in the cup. We did have Danny banned for 2 games for what I thought was really inocuous at Salford....

Hi Daveo
I thought it was end of 1990 beginning prior to start of 91 season. Ian Lucas and myself used to prop in the same school/club team, and Paul Derbyshire (Warrington assistant) used to be in the centres with me at College. Unfortunately I was garbage

<t>Reality check!!!<br/> <br/> With the results over recent months (excluding the good easter), there were a lot of people questioning whether Betts/Team were up to the job or not. Not only that, they were calling for Mo's head as well!!<br/> <br/> Wake up to the facts rather than generate hatred of...

<r><QUOTE><s>
</s><B><s></s>Fraggle posted:<e></e></B><br/> I'm bemused, once again, by the Man of the Match votes on here. There are Wigan players with average scores over 6, whereas someone's scored Huddersfield with 3's and 4's (probably not far off in that). Based on the 80 minute p...

<t>Well put Doug - and cheers Fraggle.<br/> <br/> Denis more than held his own in a team winning for a decade, and he comes across with some decent points. He has the same mentality as 'Mean Dean', and some of his phrases in the programme's are very thought provoking. If teams are equally matched ph...

<r>FFS - The pessimists don't have keep circulating!<br/> <br/> At the start of the season when we lost 3 games, it was sack the board/manager and players. Now we have beaten the 'scum' and Hull away, complaints about DB's style of post match interview are enough to call for his head!!!<br/> <br/> G...

<r>Just got back from the game and still getting over the result. Going to watch the game to see what Mike 'I hate Wigan' Stephenson has to say. <br/> <br/> Even for a complete optimist the lads pulled out a blinder today. Thought Jerome Guisset was absolutely outstanding and deserved MOM for playin...
