Re: “Have you seen this?”

By “I m sure that Boston himself would not want to be the centre of this piece of news” I should have said that I m sure he would prefer not to have the publicity .

Re: “Have you seen this?”

In today’s world where people can hide behind a key board and say what they want it is probably necessary. However it is concerning when people cannot speak up for what they believe in without others putting a very controversial spin on what may be said. I simply wanted to say that to remove Boston’...

Re: This season frustrated / worrying/ angry/ frightened

The following is not directly connected with the thread but in the longer term it will affect Wigan and the game as a whole. There is much talk about salary cap and running costs of the club. This could be said of many clubs . Player recruitment depends on money. Maybe we don’t want to compete with ...

Re: This season frustrated / worrying/ angry/ frightened

I do think he was one of those players eg Bullock, Clarke who were not picked and who would benefit from more time on the field. I realise that injuries will have lim...

Re: Tony Clubb to retire

Tony Clubb has been a solid, wholehearted player. One who will be missed and I for one cannot understand why he has attracted so much negative criticism .

Re: RL as a spectator sport

I have to admire Josie’s enthusiasm and optimism. I have never once doubted the full bloodied commitment of today’s players. It has become a gladiatorial contest. However I will say again that there is little free flowing rugby. The game is a product of successful modern training methods. There is n...

Re: Wigan squad to face Hull

Any fan has the right to air a view. However it is wrong to condemn a player with a few often ill chosen words that would appear to sum up his potential. It has become an unfortunate and easy use of a keyboard. I am not suggesting that all should be positive and there should be no negative criticism...
