Re: Bateman

Can't post it as it would be political but yes it has been and certain groups of people have earned alot of money from the pound crashing. Pound rebounds, Experts get it wrong again :D Come back when it's back up to 1.35 :) To make it rugby related again the cap really does need to increase to allo...

Re: “Surprise Signing”

Speaking of which, surely we have to get rid of a few before even entertaining a major signing? I know we have a marquee spot available but just in terms of actual cash flow for the club, room is needed. Do we have a marquee spot available? We will do when Batey goes to Redcliffe I'm actually convi...

Re: “Surprise Signing”

I just posted it in here because it made me instantly think "surprise signing" until I read further, then Id used a quote so also added the link, thanks Josie It raised my eyebrows momentarily when I saw it when scrolling through Twitter yesterday. When I saw it I thought of how we where ...

My point isn't that it's true or not, I'm not discrediting anyone here. My point is that there are no indications that the two most important parties -- Wigan & John -- want this move to happen.

Re: Jake Wardle

Whilst I expect this level of cynicism from our fans, this isn't too accurate. King & Powell do not get on so they would have to sack him regardless of results AND the club gave him a ridiculous contract which they are trying to get rid off hence the acceptance to loan him to two better teams &...

Re: Bateman

Correct me if I'm wrong as this is all opinion but this whole thread seems to be about certain Wigan fans wanting Bateman to leave & there being obvious NRL interest in John... but absolutely no indication that Wigan want to sell/get rid or that the player himself wants to leave.

Re: Jake Wardle

Unfortunately for King that’s where it all went pear shaped, before his contract he was playing some great rugby, once he got his improved deal at Warrington he went into decline. He’s on loan here next season…I’d be definitely cautious in giving him a permanent deal off the back of that evidence. ...

Re: Jake Wardle

The concern is we get him back near his best and then returns to wire next season and they get that great player back. Win win situation for them Whilst I expect this level of cynicism from our fans, this isn't too accurate. King & Powell do not get on so they would have to sack him regardless ...

Re: Jake Wardle

I'm looking forward to seeing what the coaching staff can do with King,he has lost his way so let's hope they can sort him out there's a fine player in there I think The concern is we get him back near his best and then returns to wire next season and they get that great player back.
