Harvie Hill
I was watching the replay of Jai Field’s second try yesterday and was struck by the incredible joy and emotion displayed by Harvie Hill. It’s hard to believe that he wants and is being allowed to leave Wigan. Is it too late to backtrack on this contract?

Re: Billy Boston knighthood call: campaign launched for Wigan legend
It’s shit these days that you can become a Dame for winning a running race once or twice. Then do nothing else in your career. It’s the recognition of our sport that’s the issue. Kevin Sinfield, Billy Boston for example but what about Ray French people like that In our luck we will get Sir Nigel Wo...

Re: Wigan Warriors Chief Executive Kris Radlinski gives verdict on potential signing of Nathan Cleary
Did he mean to say “He wouldn’t fit into our team”?

Re: Penalty Stats
Thanks to everyone who replied to this topic. I have been able to obtain the following from a very reliable source and includes all matches played this season up to last Friday. L.Moore: 6 matches, 4 won; pens for, 31, against, 32; 6 again for, 9, against 6; 1 yellow card, 1 red. Kendall: 6 matches,...

Penalty Stats
One for the statisticians on this forum. Does anybody have the penalty count numbers (for and against Wigan) by match this season and the referee involved. Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Team v Hull KR
Some interesting comments have been posted both for and against my suggestion. I’m sure that Smith will be selected this weekend and hopefully the 3 match layoff will have refreshed him. He will also be aware that with Farrimond waiting in the wings and the possibility of Keighran playing in the hal...

Team v Hull KR
Harry Smith is available for selection again but I would go with the same 17. I think the French / Keighran pairing could really develop and Eckersley fits in nicely at centre; thoughts and opinions please.

Re: Wigan squad for Warrington (R19)
Not sure MP is the Messiah. As has been alluded to already I think certain players (mentioning no names, but we all know who they are) have carried us . I know MP is a lovely chap but I’m not sure he is suited to the cut and thrust of coaching at the highest level. As EEP has said, why the heck doe...

Re: Wigan squad for Warrington (A)
I wondered if Miski's omission was a mistake, as Keighran is listed as number 2? However, there are 21 on the sheet, so maybe not. Keighran is listed correctly as no 3 on the Wigan website. I assume Douglas will play instead of Miski and what’s the betting on Eckersley at full back and Hampshire an...

Re: Squad v Castleford
One for the referees on this forum; was Nsemba’s tackle on Charbel Tasipale a hip drop? Thankfully no case to answer so common sense has prevailed. By the way, there’s an interesting video on YouTube by the NRL which explains what is a hip drop and what isn’t. Is that for certain? I've been checkin...
