Re: The 10-year plan to keep Sam Burgess a Bunny in an administration role
So he was on $1.2m a season! That is at today’s exchange rate £631k. Meanwhile Carney thinks RL in the U.K. might consider a cap of £1m for the entire team. Quite damning isn’t it really that he thinks that? Are we as a sport rewarding mediocrity by paying these journeymen so much? It’s catch 22. T...

Wasn't the old shirt it is based on made by Puma? What happened to the days of Puma, Nike and Adidas
I am pretty sure I still have one buried in the wardrobe somewhere. Looks like I'd be better off finding that.

Brian Carney: Should Super League salary cap be cut to £1m?
Regardless of whether he’s being Sky’s mouthpiece for a drop in TV money he’s talking nonsense. Just because a club is stupid enough to pay a shit prop a shed load of money it does not follow that players of the standard of Gildart will stick around for half their current wages. The shit prop might ...

Sammut leaves...
Agreed on both counts! I personally think Sammut and Hastings are the most experienced and fluent 6 and 7 combination we could have had for 2020. Unless I'm missing something about French nothing convinces me he is a stand off apart from his lightening pace? I know some fans didn't rate Lam in 2019...

Re: Wigan Warriors put focus on improving skills for 2020
Sam Powell ..... returned today 😊 Player who most needs to improve his skills returns late for skills training. Oh the irony ;) Will Winder be teaching him how to pass? He didn’t return late! He was on England knights duty. Sammut also returned as he had been on international duty with Malta....

Re: Starting XII and Interchange
I'm really hoping Greenwood has a big season and cements his place in the second row. I know Isa is Mr Dependable, but I think it showed in the last 2 games he's not quite good enough. I'm also hoping Bullock and Partington will start pushing Flower and Clubb out of the team, but really good to hav...

Re: Leeming
He is a decent player but we need to decide whether to buy or promote and our philosophy is to do the latter. You could have fooled me. Burgess, Bullock, Clubb, Flower, Isa, Clark, Greenwood, Hastings, Sammut, Bibby, French, Navarette, Escare, Hankinson, TL and Pearce-Paul are all buys and only Pea...
