Re: 19-man squad vs Salford

I’ll take the two points. Can’t believe we were well in front and ended up having to come back to win it but given Salford beating Wire I think that is two points earned. The basic errors in defence are glaring. If Lam isn’t sorting it out isn’t this where senior pros like Lockers ought to be contri...

Re: Sean O'Loughlin to play on with Wigan Warriors in 2020?

Make him like we did with Deakin in the coaching staff and play if needed don't give him another 12 months . As soon as a player coach takes to the field his wages count on the cap and I mean all of them. I don’t get this notion of disloyalty suggesting its time he hung up his boots and that this m...

Re: Travesty if Lam gets the job full time

Never understood the point in appointing Lam for 1 season as a ‘stop gap’ until SE was supposed to take over, he was never going to recruit the players he wanted just for 1 season which possibly SE would not want in his squad. There are far to many bang average players in the squad that are taking ...

Wigan Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan on Shaun Edwards saga, and plans for future appointment

While I agree with a lot of what Daveo says,Lenegan does treat us fans as mugs,in regards to the Edwards farce Edwards himself played the club for mugs,he’s certainly can’t escape criticism for such gobshitery I don’t disagree. He could have still come but decided not to. However I agree with a pre...

Re: Wigan Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan on Shaun Edwards saga, and plans for future appointment

SE played it out in the media, if you have any respect for the club he wouldnt have done that. But people will still blame IL fully and believe they know better than a multi millionaire businessman. Are you related to him or something? That is would explain your unflinching support for our buffoon ...

Re: Travesty if Lam gets the job full time

I agree but lam is going to be our coach next year IL has virtually said so in his statement earlier in the week the best thing that could happen to us is to get relegated that way we loose some top earners and the coach and hopefully a new coach will come in and we will start playing again . But i...

Re: Sean O'Loughlin to play on with Wigan Warriors in 2020?

Marquee Rule: They can only be considered if there salary would be 175k or more before the rule is applied. It’s £75,000 that counts on the cap if club trained, £150,000 if not. The club could pay Lockers £80k if it wanted and “only” £75k would count on the cap. Obviously a silly thing do but the r...

Re: Adrian Lam the early favourite to be Wigan Warriors coach in 2020

DaveO have you seen figures? We have IL and KR telling us we are spending the cap... what would be the point of lying about it. As you have said we are losing alot of player potentially this year. I would like to believe that tjat money will be invested into the squad. If it isnt then i would have ...
