Well this is one for the armchair coaches who were saying AK should have been given the job when Peet announced Smith was the goal kicker at the start of the season. They were right weren’t they.

Re: Wigan Warriors’ goal-kicking stance confirmed by head coach Matt Peet

The stats say keighran is the better kicker, this should have been sorted in pre season, fortunately it hasn't cost us. Agreed. I could not understand Peet naming Smith as the kicker as he did at the start of the season. Smith kicked well towards the end of last season but he had periods where he w...

Re: Important Information: Season Tickets

I feel the damage is going to be more reflective next season, even if in a form of protest at the handling of this situation, albeit i do not know how many fans have received their tickets correctly. Maybe I am missing something, but surely they could have just been fully open about the situation f...

Re: Squad v Castleford

Spot on. I do agree with Josie in that the defence has been a little lax at times but we know it’s there when needed, in the big games. I can’t lie, I was glad it was a contest last night. I was bored to tears in the cup last week. No game against a team in your league should be that easy, especial...

Re: Squad v Castleford

One thing seems to have been missed in all the analysis - though Josie touched on it by referring to changes in the spine: At any point in the season, we could have enforced changes due to injury. If this means changes to the spine, then Hampshire is first in line to come in. Yet he's had very litt...

Re: Squad v Castleford

I think the cup game gave us fans a false impression. Once the game was gone there they had nothing to play for. They have been far more competitive in the league and even beat Salford in their previous game. A combination of them not being that bad and wholesale changes to the spine gave us what w...

Re: Squad v Castleford

Just got back after a magical mystery tour due to nighttime junction closures on the M6. That’s after being diverted over the Merseyside Gateway on my way to the match as the M56 had a 30minute delay on it  I thought it was a poor performance particularly the first half. I don’t hold with this...

Re: Squad v Castleford

Very lacklustre half from Wigan. Another defensive lapse lef to two.points for Cas on half time.

Need to buck up in the second half.
