How about chasing a top class coach for a change?
Like who?
How should I know? I am not the one who has access to agents acting for coaches or in the loop as to who might be open to offers. That’s Rads and IL’s job to know this and it’s a job they seem pretty poor at.

Re: Salary Cap

The question was referring to Wigan not playing him to stop an increase in salary which would be triggered by appearances. To explain. Let’s say hypothetically his salary is £20k per year (£1,600 per month) & that results in our salary cap being bang on. If his contract stipulates his salary go...

Re: Shaun Wane reveals he turned down significant offers to return to Wigan

Isn't any next coaching team experimental. Everyone banging on about Wane but isn't he in more of a Sinfield/peacock role at the club. No and no. To address the last point first, Sinfield’s position was administrative which is a reason he cited for leaving Leeds. This is something I have pointed ou...

Re: Shaun Wane reveals he turned down significant offers to return to Wigan

Personally I agree with you. The club seems to have this romantic idea that either promoting from within or appointing assistant coaches speaks volumes about the club! For me, we are too prolific and successful to have this almost experimental attitude. As is stands now, this is going to be either ...

Re: Shaun Wane reveals he turned down significant offers to return to Wigan

So by your logic that means he chipped in constantly when madge was here and madge was constantly undermined. Having strong opinions and ideas does not automatically mean you are going to step outside your area of responsibility. Hot new madge didn't do anything for Wigan it was Wane as he couldn't...

Re: Mitch Clark

Personally, I thought Clark looked fairly effective when appearing this season. His lack of appearances overall, obviously suggest it hasn't gone to plan. Wise to part company now before next season. Clark reminded me of Tauti, he made metre but it was 50/50 if he knocked on or not when he got the ...

Re: Shaun Wane reveals he turned down significant offers to return to Wigan

That comment makes no sense unless Wanes remit involves actually coaching the team it has no impact how much of a shrinking violet or not he is. There plenty to be concerned about without people making something out of nothing. So you think that Wane is the type of guy that won’t try and get involv...

Re: The Pink city

Good luck to Toulouse. The aim should be a French TV deal, either to supplement Sky diminishing returns, or to let the two French teams have the income and share Sky's money between the 8 remaining teams (from 2023). As to the question "What about Salford, Wakey, Huddersfield etc?"....if ...

Mitch Clark

Honestly, I think Botica was made to look a far better player than he was by the quality around him at the time. I can’t recall a single time he put a man through a gap. Though he could kick goals (ironically, we would still have won everything with no kicker at all...). I don’t think I’ve ever rea...
