Re: Isa
I don’t think Wigan will release or deregister Isa in order to sign another player. They might if this is a career ending injury or if he himself decides to call it a day as a result. I am not sure exactly how it works as regards the salary cap but I think if a player is out long term injured clubs ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
I don’t disagree that we’ve come up short in the two toughest league fixtures we’ve faced but the point stands. You said we’ve not been convincing since London, yet we were average that day and absolutely battered Leigh and Cas in the last few weeks. There is no need for OTT reactions. We’ve had a ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
We were ordinary at London and really good at Leigh 3 weeks ago and Cas 2 weeks ago, so that doesn’t make any sense. Leigh and Cas were very poor although we even made Cas look good with a very unconvincing performance last week. We have played two sides who look decent and have lost to both. I don...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
Very poor performance against the first decent side we have faced bar Saints. Not looked convincing since London as someone else said. As to peeking for the WCC, that is not excuse. it was weeks ago. Peter’s had the tactics spot on and I am afraid as well as being outplayed Wigan were easily out co...

Re: Wigan Warriors’ goal-kicking stance confirmed by head coach Matt Peet
Well this is one for the armchair coaches who were saying AK should have been given the job when Peet announced Smith was the goal kicker at the start of the season. They were right weren’t they.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 4:03 pm The amount of posters on here that know better than World Champion coach Matty Peet is astounding

Re: Wigan Warriors’ goal-kicking stance confirmed by head coach Matt Peet
The stats say keighran is the better kicker, this should have been sorted in pre season, fortunately it hasn't cost us. Agreed. I could not understand Peet naming Smith as the kicker as he did at the start of the season. Smith kicked well towards the end of last season but he had periods where he w...

Re: Important Information: Season Tickets
I feel the damage is going to be more reflective next season, even if in a form of protest at the handling of this situation, albeit i do not know how many fans have received their tickets correctly. Maybe I am missing something, but surely they could have just been fully open about the situation f...

Re: Squad v Castleford
Spot on. I do agree with Josie in that the defence has been a little lax at times but we know it’s there when needed, in the big games. I can’t lie, I was glad it was a contest last night. I was bored to tears in the cup last week. No game against a team in your league should be that easy, especial...

Re: Squad v Castleford
One thing seems to have been missed in all the analysis - though Josie touched on it by referring to changes in the spine: At any point in the season, we could have enforced changes due to injury. If this means changes to the spine, then Hampshire is first in line to come in. Yet he's had very litt...
