Re: Derby Day!
I do hope, all things considered that the defeat yesterday will be the spur to shake them out of this patch of poor, albeit winning form one of the highlights of the last couple of years has been the style of play under Peet you have to factor in the bad weather I suppose the warmer days can’t come so...

Re: Derby Day!
The best team won Morley. It did no point bellyaching about it. I do feel as well they are missing Toby King as well Unfortunately i dont think keighran is in kings league but lets remember king started off badly We’ve just said the same thing about King starting slowly but I fear you’re right long...

Re: Derby Day!
Great to read some very honest and realistic comments on here. I sometimes switch off at the "blame the ref" and "the end is nigh" sort of stuff. We lost but we can do much better. THE END (© Medlocke.) The best team won Morley. It did no point bellyaching about it. I do feel as...

Re: Derby Day!
Can’t blame the ref when you lose if the opposition only scores 12 points. I am not surprised we have lost today given the performances since the WCC which have have been lacklustre. We have been scraping through games and that was the reckoning as Dai put it. On paper we have what looks like the b...

Re: New Deal for Jake Wardle
There is a video of Jake’s early career playing for Huddersfield & England but what I can’t understand is why the Giants let him go! 🤔🤔 First to Wire then to us! Is Watson a coach who has favourites?? No, he is just not very good. always remember an item on the long forgotten rugby am show abou...

Re: LEAGUE. Joint Super League and NRL decision set to be made
It seems to me that crowds are up significantly this year. Probably nothing to do with IMG, but I reckon the coverage of the TV deal didn't hurt us. I'd say we're back on an upslope as a sport. Certainly I agree the sport seems on an at least upward tickets see how it goes over a year or two attend...

Re: LEAGUE. Joint Super League and NRL decision set to be made
Can't help but feel this story, if that's what it is is nothing more than a grubby grab at the success of the NRL vegas trip nothing more, being aided and abetted by journo's who are desperate for an all expenses trip to cover its for them 'buying" the SL as Dave pointed how on earth would that...

Re: New Deal for Jake Wardle
Well fair play to the club long term planning is a far better way of running a team than a year here,a year there Wardle is class and I’m surprised other teams didn’t come sniffing for him

Well quite.Wiganer Ted wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 7:41 pm If our SL clubs can't afford the return fare to Perpignan why would anyone propose one or more our clubs go to Las Vagas?
