<r><QUOTE author="AD-veeerb72"><s>[quote="AD-veeerb72"]</s>I'm not being funny RAGMAN, but what do you regard as being big enough ??? I went to watch the lads Train at the Open Session.......wouldn't like to tackle him at full pace, he looks like a solid unit to me......Have you ever played Rugby ??...

Re: Flower set to blossom as prop

<t>Hmm.. not sure.. Is he big enough?<br/> <br/> I know it's not just all about size,(that's what I tell the missus anyway....) and I can't say I've ever seen enough of BF play to make any real comments, but from what I've seen of him, I worry about whether he has the size to succeed at prop.<br/> <...

Open Training session

<t>Anybody got any observations from the training session at Orrell on Saturday?<br/> <br/> I thought the whole idea was a good one, and was a good opportunity to have a look at some of the younger lads in direct comparison to the first team squad. Many didn't look out of place at all, which bodes w...

Re: Westy is going back to NZ

<t>Very sad news. The club, if IL has anything about him, should throw a massive going away party at the stadium. GW was one of the most important signings the club has ever made, and the dominance of the 80's can be traced back directly to 1982 when Westy came over.<br/> <br/> A great player, and a...

Re: Grand Final.

<t>What really p****d me off was Stevo saying that people who questioned the play-offs system didn't 'understand or love the game as much as us'. What an arrogant, self-obsessed gobshite.<br/> <br/> Eddie Hemmings justifying the play-offs by saying it had been a 'really exciting game' was the clinch...

Re: Quota

Personally, I'm a big fan of Jamie Acton. I think he's got all the makings of a top centre - speed, strength, and good defence. Got a rugby brain as well. I'd like to see him in the first team squad next season. Any thoughts?

Re: Connor Farrell

Is Greg Burke related to Tony Burke in any way ? I think Tony was Beech Hill based, and was one of those players who wa always rumored to be Wigan-bound, but never came.

Re: WIgan v Stains

<t>Time for a bit of realisation.<br/> <br/> We are screaming out for some leadership and direction midfield from Stand off. I've never been a deacon fan, but he is truly awful, and completely out of his depth.<br/> <br/> Coley is retiring and for good reason, George Carmont is finished, as is Pat.<...

Re: Amy Housewine Dead.

90+ innocent lives brutally cut short by a maniac in Norway, and now Amy Winehouse is dead.

One of these is a tragic waste of life......
