Re: Confused
<t>You have got me confused as well. I always thought that props were either "loosehead" or "tighthead" and Flankers (in union) were "blindside" or "openside"<br/> <br/> A "tighthead" prop binds between the heads of the opposition hooker and prop, whereas the "loosehead" binds outside the opposition...

Re: northern rail cup
<t>Me and a friend went. It was a good atmosphere and the right result in the end.<br/> <br/> It was a pity they treated us like football fans - i.e. no beer allowed in the seating areas (no bar at all on the open stand side!) and they kept a section on the north stand clear so as to keep the fans a...

Re: salford vs widnes
We certainly need Salford to keep the points gap for us, as I am not sure that we will be getting ant tomorrow (though I certanly hope so - fingers, etc. crossed).
As for the other game, it's Hull for me please.

Re: Tickle on the bench, why?
I don't think Tickle is 100% fit yet. Otherwise I can see no reason why he would not be on from the start.

Re: Leigh
<t>Unless you can get Leigh to agree to play their home game at the JJB, then you can certainly count me amongst the stupid ones who will be standing in the open air, getting distracted by the traffic noise and praying we don't get rained on or shat on by a bird (or by Leigh!), supporting our team.<...

As someone who also watches the worst side in NL2, all I can suggest is that we continue to turn up, shout on the lads, and hope that they can start picking up points quickly.

Re: Carney
Mcrae has more than likely seen how well Carney is playing at the moment (not) and is having second thoughts on making a bid.

I agree. Faz is now a part of Wigan's history. He should recognise that the immediate future lies with the players and coaches that are currently at the club, and let them get on with the task of trying to make something of the remainder of the season.
