Re: vs Hull

i wasnt able to attend the game but listened to pre match on 5live sports extra and then got the last 15 minutes of the game pre match 2 good interviews with Matty Peet and Brett Hodgson. Re: Pay it Forward

My wife couldn't go to last nights game, nor could any of my mates who sometimes come to games either. (Thursday night a major factor but that's another rant for another day) That meant that I went on my tod and my wife's season ticket went unused. This got me thinking. A few years back, I found my...

Re: Reserves

Definitely no reason to write Miski off after one game. I've seen Ryan Hall drop a couple of cross field kicks in one game for Leeds and he was considered one of the best in the business. It shouldn't be underestimated how good the kicks were from Gigot in the Toulouse game. The attacking winger pr...

Re: Reserves

Miski is ridiculously strong, one of the strongest in the club in fact. I was on a course recently and we were coaching in the Warriors gym, the whole of the first team's metrics are on the wall in there, for their 3 rep max at different exercises, plus other data. It made for some interesting read...

Re: Wakefield Trinity announce huge Super League stadium news

The Agreement, between the Club, Newmarket Lane Limited and Wakefield Council covers both the redevelopment of the stadium as well as Plot 8 at Newmarket Lane, Wakefield. Preliminary work on the stadium redevelopment is already well underway and the club anticipates pressing ahead with the major st...

Re: WIGAN TO SNAKE HELENS

Too much emphasis is always placed on individuals. Trying to work out which players are better in a Saints or Wigan side is impossible, because it is how the whole team fits together that really matters, and that comes from coaching and culture, which we are sadly lacking at present. Remember Madge...

Re: Disciplinary

It'll be interesting to see how they deal with the Will Pryce "tackle" from the weekend, if punching is 5 games the head slam he carried out should carry 8 or 9 it was horrific this is from twitter so very grainy https://twitter.com/DJB2708/status/1505621102218915850?t=KN6GlcwkaaQ-X-WSt6_...

Re: Disciplinary

just on the 6 nations there was an England player sent off a couple of weeks ago about a minute into the game, so they are clamping down on foul play where appropriate. I havent seen the game / tackle but had seen a headline after the game. https://www.skysports.com/rugby-union/news/20876/12567627/c...

Re: Disciplinary

Watched Ireland RU play Scotland. Not really a union fan. However the discipline on show could teach RL a thing or two. Proper tackles No high tackles. No collision attacks Proper scrums well formed and binding although the scrum half still fed ball to the second row when scrum was "set"....

Re: vs Castleford

Time will tell, as surely French must be fit enough by now. We were told repeatedly that he was keeping very fit when in Oz, so he should be in the mix in the next couple of weeks. We will see soon enough what works and what doesn’t work. My concern is to deploy our squad in a way that gives us the...
