ITV news coverage

Was watching the news after my tea last night Rugby League - Oliver Wilkes on performance enhancing drugs They never do any form of coverage of Rugby League, whether that be a programme or news coverage. Then just after the opening weekend of the season they decide to run an article basically implyi...

Re: Wire v Leeds

wasnt able to watch the game on Saturday as plans changed got it on now before i start work impressed with the pre-match build up. if the next 9 games coverage is as good as the bit i have seen so far, then i can certainly see more games on C4 next year. May also give Sky a kick up the arse, if they...

Re: Rugby league legend Martin Offiah names Wigan as the greatest team in the history of the sport

I have been blessed to see both Boston and offiah. Play. Boston is and always will be my hero. offiah was poetry in motion you knew if there was the smallest of gaps he was through it and once in open space nothing and no one would catch him. Interestingly when asked about the best centre he ever p...

Re: Rugby league legend Martin Offiah names Wigan as the greatest team in the history of the sport

I agree with Martin that Wigan is the greatest team, the trophy count and name world wide makes the statement valid for me. I have watched Wigan since 1970 and Martin is the best winger I have seen playing for Wigan! In my own personal best ever Wigan 13 Martin is my number 5 without hesitation did...

Re: George Williams aims to see out career at Warrington Wolves

to be fair a bit of a nothing article in the local paper i'm happy at Wire and want to finish off here. Unlikely to say he's ready to move on already or he hates it at Wire I made the right decision to go to Oz and would consider it again. He's made some good money from the move and IMO for the righ...

Re: Wilkin and Buchanan join sky sports team

Who is this Adam Hills? Thank you 😊 The Last Leg on C4 Thank you 😊 I rarely watch terrestrial tv so I was at a loss to who this guy was 😳 Ozzie comedian and host of The Last Leg i find him very funny, but he can also be serious with his presentation. Whilst The Last Leg is a comedy show, they certa...

Re: Wigan win at Warrington

KPP was training at Total Fitness before everyone had returned for pre-season

one of the old guys went over to him and asked him if he played goalie for a premiership football team :). Clearly no idea who he or the other lad who he trained with was. Both had a warriors vest top on :) :)

Re: Wilkin and Buchanan join sky sports team

Just seen on twitter the C4 presentation team for Leeds v Wire is Adam Hills with Sinfield and Pryce I posted recently that i really like the idea of Adam Hills being involved. I think this could be a really good appointment. He loves RL, and a great advocate for disability RL too. i think he will g...

Re: Rugby league to finally make its appearance in New York

Sorry but this is a complete waste of time and money. An American team joining SL is ridiculous where does the article say that? it talks about them having ambitions 3 years ago, but nothing about them joining and from what i can see it is purely an article about RL getting a foothold in North Amer...

Re: Des Drummond

RIP Des

he must have had the hardest head and strongest neck / shoulders in the game. i've never seen anyone run / tackle headfirst like he did at times. Hard as nails and reading the posts from Leigh and Wire fans a true favourite at both clubs
