Re: Matty Peet gives insight into Wigan Warriors Army camp as players learn valuable leadership skills

I was trying to put a positive emphasis on how it feels at present compared to the last couple of years, but if you read a lot of posts on here, we are favourites for relegation? Whilst we may not win the LL or GF, a significant improvement in performances and challenging (realistically) will be a ...

Re: Matty Peet gives insight into Wigan Warriors Army camp as players learn valuable leadership skills

IMO there has been a massive shift in attitute coming out of the club in the last 2 months Everything felt down and out with Lam at the helm (i dont blame his solely for this), and i think the fans and management were in that mentality too. It honestly felt like the life had been drained out of the...

Re: Ten Wigan Warriors players off-contract at the end of the season

my view on the players listed French - try to retain as long as he has recovered from his injury and performs this coming season Hardaker - let him go at the end of his contract if all the rumours are to be believed and he wants to move back home Bibby - retain as solid utility back (although he mad...

Re: Stefan Ratchford

I wonder if there is more to this - it’s interesting to see this side by side with the out of contract players thread. Just sayin’ i think he is 33/34, so IMO unlikely to be a playing role as Fozzie says, fine player and has ability in multiple positions, but probably too late in his career for us ...

Re: WIRE TO PLAY WIGAN IN RATCHFORD TESTIMONIAL GAME

Why do the RFL need to grant the testimonial? What would the difference be if they didn’t? Does it just make it official / recognised ? My guess is that it would count on the salary cap if they didn't. Also there are differnet rules around player testimonials from a HMRC perspective so may need to ...

Re: Mago and Cust?

I've just checked and vaccinated people are still free to leave Australia so covid shouldn't be a problem unless things change again. Does the club book the flights or is it left up to the players? If it's the club, somebody should know when they're due to arrive. Obviously things may be complicate...

Re: Channel 4 to broadcast SL

beat me to it Josie :). Was just reading about it and about to post :) good news and what many of us have been crying out for, for a long time. Whilst it doesnt go into the financial details within the article, any exposure on free to air TV (Saturday dinner) can only be good for the game and hopefu...

Re: Castleford Tigers’ new stadium dream appears over

Absolute joke and making a mockery out of the whole game The problem is now, that this should have been resolved many years ago for both Cas and Wakey. They keep rolling out the same BS, that we are getting our lovely new ground, and then do f all about it I have no doubt that this is all bluster to...
