Re: The Pink city

Are you ignoring the new real time stats that they are now showing in Super League games? to be honest i couldnt tell you the last time i watched a game on sky, and i am talking seasons, not weeks the general point still stands though. The premier league has made a significant investment for both f...

Re: The Pink city

Toulouse being in SL isn't the issue for me it's just highlights the issue that's already there. The fans just don't turn up anymore and don't have the same level of commitment to activities and hobbies The sport needs to find a way to appeal to the fans that have the attention span of a goldfish (...

Re: Sts v Leeds

Does he really? I do accept Roby had some quiet games against us when MM played but how long ago was that? And given hookers don’t really directly compete against each other (like fullbacks) the way props or opposite wingers do, it’s an irrelevant comparison. No sane person would choose MM over Rob...

Re: What are the challenges / issues Rugby League is facing?

was going to post something similar to WF1985 (but wouldnt have worded it so well :) ) Play-offs IMO currently make RL a long pre-season, with the odd game of intensity, but they tend to be Wigan v Saints, Wire and poss Leeds. Outside of those games i struggle to get up for them as it often feels li...

Re: St Helens fined for post-Wembley Covid protocol breach

Joke when other teams had a victory/loss recorded Who had a loss recorded and specifically what for ? i'm assuming that people are getting the postponed for covid mixed up with not being able to field a team (in reality they are both the same as the teams who forfeited had been impacted by covid, a...

Re: Nightmare over. Lam gone!

Can’t disagree with what you’ve said Dave. How do you know hardaker was a cheap option to replace Sam? Sam was gone, we had Escare (who I imagine would still be here if not for Lam) and bought French....... I imagine Hardaker was seen as a potentially utility player and not the fullback replacement...

Re: Referee for Thursday

It made no difference to the result but there is a reason why we have lost every match that Hicks has refereed this season. He's not 'bent' or anything like that but he obviously came onto the field last night with a clear view of how he was going to ref the match. Leeds could hold down as much as ...
