Re: Six again

Peet far from happy in his Wigan TV interview. I think he's had enough of it all tbh and clearly thinks our games are being reffed with the intention of making sure scores don't blow out too badly. He spoke about our players not moaning and play acting for penalties like other clubs and suggested t...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull FC (SLR9)

re Video ref. the game yesterday was an example of getting the decisions right, but equally it can take far too long for the Field try, he looked and said that the Hull player had instigated contact on the dummy runner, and ball taken outside of the tackle (on his 1st look), and they replayed it abo...

Re: Six again

penalty count finished 9-4 against, but we did get a couple of repeat sets :) :) i was getting frustrated as it felt the game was being policed differently for both sides. He pulled Wigan for something but completely ignored the same offence for Hull. Wife told me off for swearing at the ref :) :). ...

Re: Six again

Well its fully out in the open now. Lets see if the pens start evening up from here, or if they get worse! It had to be spoken about at some point. Peet sounds like he's chosen his words very carefully because he clearly thinks this has been an issue throughout his tenure and not just this season. ...

Re: Warrington vs St Helens

only watched 1st half Tries looked too easy for both sides, without building too much pressure, and came from simple errors as others have mentioned, the Percival try just before half time, how can the ref give that, unless he was absolutely 100% certain, as the VR had no chance based on what he cou...

Re: Sam Walters ?

Peet is reporting that Paddy is likely to miss 4 weeks. It will be interesting to see what permutation he goes with on Sunday, in particular. i think this week will show how strong / good the depth of our pack is, and why the recruitment over the last 18 months or so has been bang on, and why we ma...

Re: Leeds Rhinos dealt Brad Arthur blow as NRL side also consider Sam Burgess

Why consider Burgess, because he's got an illustrious playing career. He's not exactly setting the world on fire at Wire at the minute is he. After a good start last season, its been downhill since, and there is only so much you can do with an aura, if you dont have the coaching skills to get the be...

Re: Sam Walters ?

With Eseh, Chan, Hirst, Makin coming through and Walters still quite young, it's been said that we should sign an older, experienced prop for next year. On another thread, Josie posted a link to stats, and looking at props, McMeeken is tearing it up at Wakey: top tackler, few missed tackles etc. I ...

Re: Sam Walters ?

We also have a second row in Hirst who's on a year long loan at Oldham. He's relatively inexperienced but not that young. Also I think he's 6'4" which isn't far off Junior in height. I wonder if he may get a go on Sunday with the injuries we have. I don't see the need to run with two hookers o...
