Re: Kris Radlinski proposes Super League salary cap change as Wigan Warriors chief makes NRL admission
i'd say vision and money (but money they are prepared to spend) sponsorship will come to the players if we allow them. There have been posts previously and i think it was Scully the last RL player to be sponsored by Gillette when there was a test series. Why not let the players get deals like this a...

Re: Matt Peet issues apology to Adam Keighran with Wigan Warriors to consider appeal
he's also just confirmed what i posted a couple of weeks back when we havent appealed against other bans, when players who should have been banned didnt even get a disciplinary review Leigh and HKR, both had incidents that warranted a player being banned, but not even mentioned. So now Matty going t...

Re: Kris Radlinski proposes Super League salary cap change as Wigan Warriors chief makes NRL admission
i agree, something needs to change. I dont think we'll ever have a RL player with the social media following of Christiano Ronaldo, who make millions from it, but why should players not be allowed to make money from other avenues including sponsorship deals with kit suppliers, boots, aftershaves etc...

Re: Jai Field
Love him! Great player! But a shadow of his former self. When are we going to see him go around a player and pin his ears back with the pace he has to burn? Is he carrying a knock? Is he nervous, following his hamstring issues? The pitches are now more firm and we are a third through the season, bu...

Re: Wigan Warriors make decision on appeals after copping two bans
for what its worth i think Matty has played our last couple of suspensions out right, but sure he'll have had a word with the powers that be we've copped bans where others havent even been brought up on any charge which is clearly showing indifference / inconsistent approach, and i think he'll use t...

Re: Match Review Panel are a joke
We'll never make any sense of the MRP workings and decisions. Gave up trying years ago. As for Paul Cullen's role in the MRP? Talk about a poacher turning gamekeeper? Cullen was a dirty bugger wasn't he? Grade A - need to send Andy Goodway in to step on his fingers again :D some great old school ru...

Re: Wigan Warriors: The incredible stats behind Challenge Cup semi-final triumph to reach Wembley
Is it this season that the limited minutes per player is in force or have I just dreamt that bit and I can't remember if challenge cup games were included or not. It's great Thompson doing the full 80 but if there are limitations, and it was the forwards that had the biggest limitation, then doing ...

Re: KRWillie Peters calls for “clarification” on laws as Hull KR are dumped from Challenge Cup
the problem we've got as a game now is that we are following (very slowly) football too many players going to ground too easily / milking a penalty and also too many players with their arms in the air constantly to the ref whether it be for a marginal high shot or slow POTB on Saturday their kick ch...

was my MOTM. To play the full 80 and be active all the way through the game in attack and defence in those conditions on Saturday takes some enginejosie andrews wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 11:37 pm A lot of credit to Luke Thompson who played the full 80 minutes
