Re: Squad v Warrington

i listened to the game on 5 live last night as we are isolating, as both daughters have geeten covid The commentary was very fair and blunt in regards to Wigan (and Wire to be honest) Wilkin especially said that Wigan wont win the ruck as we dont dominate and thus the slow POB with a slow hooker mea...

Re: Hull KR left without game as rivals snub chance to step in for Salford Red Devils

HKR have hardly played a game for weeks & jumped in at the last minute to play Catalan when Castleford had to ‘withdraw due to Covid!’ Teams should be docked points or fined if they won’t try switching games to fulfil fixtures IMO Leigh & Huddersfield ought to be ashamed of themselves! 🤨 on...

Re: Kyle Flanaghan.

Update on Super League target’s future Kyle Flanagan will not be moving to the UK, according to Canterbury boss Trent Barrett, news.com.au has reported. Flanagan arrived at the Bulldogs as a million-dollar marquee signing, but that has since gone awry with the halfback dropped from the team on a nu...

O/T Sky Football coverage

i attended our team monthly briefing earlier this week and there was a guest speaker in attendance the subject was all around the Sky / Premier League, and their desire to attract new audiences and an acceptance that subscriptions to watch the football will inevitably decline based on the below. Re: The worst tackle in Rugby League history…

One of the worst I saw live was in the battle of Fartown: Huddersfield v Wigan in 2nd Division, 1981. A clothes line tackle on Huddersfield 2nd row, a black lad called Johnson, by either Alan Hodkinson or Eddie Bowman. The match was shown on ITV, I think it's on YouTube. Six sent off? https://youtu...
