Re: Tony Clubb

shock horror a paper trying to make something out of it

leaked document

no, it is more likely all clubs will do this, so not big news

we all know who is out of contract and possibly on the move, so a bit of lazy journalism to try and make up a story

Re: Williams as it stands.

i know that money may talk, but what about the respective coaches for next season / position that he sees the clubs in who would most likely inspire GW? Powell or Lam (or tbc). Wire have their coach sorted for next year, so he would know who he is playing for and what his plans are. As far as i am ...

Re: Huddersfield Giants and Wigan Warriors clash in serious doubt after Covid-19 outbreak

May sound harsh, but if the game is cancelled we should be given the win. I appreciate the trying times we remain in, but I don’t believe we should be looking at squeezing re-arranged fixtures into a mid-week slot at the detriment of our players. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sorry but i disag...

Re: Weak middles - Do the stats back it up?

I always wondered why faz n greenwood didnt swap sides? Faz could play left side in our own half then play greenwood nearer to the try line ,as that was when he was most dangerous Too much swapping and changing and disruption. Wouldn't work. There’s been loads of swapping & changing positions in ou...

Re: Huddersfield on Friday

i usually park either along the main road (St Andrews Rd) leading up to the ground or on one of the public car parks along there, depending on what time i arrive if lucky you will get a free parking spot, if not public car park but dont think it was too expensive from memory. There are industrial un...

Re: Inside rugby league's stagnant recruitment market as clubs struggle to identify new signings

lack of academy / reserve teams must be biting the game on its arse too. If there isnt a talent pool coming through from all clubs and a pathway for the players, then sooner or later the market will be really stagnent it is on the clubs to produce the player pool, and it seems that there are only a ...

Re: Joy for Castleford Tigers, Bradford Bulls and Hull KR as RFL reverse controversial decision over elite academy licen

not really a shock that is it yet again we bring the game back down to the lowest common denominator(s). You would assume that the RFL did enough during the audit to have established that they werent reaching the required standards, and then lo and behold, less than 2 weeks later they miraculously r...

Re: George William's released by Canberra

that article went on and on forever :)

he could only go to 2 clubs Wigan or Wire (but neither can afford him)
so i'll chuck in Leeds and raise you Leigh, and then of course there is Huddersfield

why not just say he could go to any super league club and save me about 20 minutes reading rubbish :)

Re: Today’s team

I think you have missed the point I was trying to make in that both Agar and Watson have identified that Greenwood because of his size and weight and has a good offload is ideal to make the switch to prop permanently, not as a one off. Time will tell but Lam never even considered it but would rathe...
