Re: A magnificent effort
Balance in terms of star quality and workhorses is vital IMO and despite being (wrongly IMO)maligned for so called stupidity I really like Gelling as a centre and as an entertainer. In a dull season Gelling keeps you wanting to watch him/Wigan.

Re: Crosby to Warrington
As fans we expect player to play for love blah blah of Wigan RLFC but it isn't rational IMO. How long is a good career? 10 years or 3 decent contracts? You see too many past legends hobbling about to say ignore the money. Good luck to whomever, they deserve all the money they can earn.

Re: A magnificent effort
<t>I think we probably never had it. Sam was seen as a panacea and the initial attack ideas was poor IMO. Constant injuries thereafter makes it almost impossible to be at your best in attack.<br/> <br/> Initially I would argue Manfredi was the key to much of our better attacking. Thereafter Gelling ...

Do you not think week in week out they enjoyed the season mor than we did. Plenty in Wigan RLFC did not enjoy the season but are delighted at a GF win.
