Re: Season tickets 2021

With 10k season ticket holders some will be missing out. Can't really sell ST on that basis. Also the added complication that we may have Covid passports in place then for large events for a considerable time, even after June 21st.

Re: Season tickets 2021

Looks like we won't be able to sell STs till June. BJ has announced 10k fans or 25% capacity, whichever is the smaller from 17th May and fully open from 21st June, assuming criteria on hospital occupancy, vaccination numbers, infection rates and new variants are met. Even then extra measures may be ...

Re: New Prop

Having watched him develop in the academy Shorrocks runs better lines at LF than any of the other candidates but needs to bulk up. Personally I see Isa starting the season there. Long term I could also see Hastings making a good LF towards the end of his career as he has the size, ball handling skil...

Re: Wigan to play Leigh in Round 1

Interestingly only round 1 fixtures have been released. What are SL playing at? Surely they could have announced the entire season at the same time rather than hanging on til the 26th? Also no mention from the club re ST sales yet. I believe the Latics administrators shut down the ticket office as i...

Re: Burgess

On the Wakey RLFans board it has been stated that he was one of the Wakey players who had a NYE party against the Covid regs. All the players involved were named as the idiots posted film of it on social media. Might see a few exits because of it.

Re: Warriors named on government "rogue employers" list for not paying minimum wage

£4.5k for a person on minimum wage is 25% + of their salary. Seems strange how such a big %age of someone's salary could have been made in error and not noticed by the club or employee. At the time of posting the club hadn't made a statement. Maybe they should put it up on the website rather than go...

Re: Anthony Gelling departs Warrington

Case to be heard next year (12/5/21). Something doesn't seem quite right about the whole situation. His partner was flown out of the country in double quick time by Wire. In a post match interview on Sky he waved at the camera and said something along the lines of "Daddy's coming home soon girls" as...

Re: Players Leaving

Medical Retirement for Burgess could be a win-win for the player and the club depending on what insurance policies are in place.
