So this so-called star sportsman is going for buttons. Blimey, with bonuses I bet the likes of Emile Heskey aren't far off earning that in fortnight! Seems this salary cap thing betrays a lack of ambition in the 'sport'.

Mate, another season in the top flight and Latics will be debt-free. That's quite an achievement when you're paying the kind of wages that Premier League footballers command,

Showing your ignorance yet again. Firstly, Latics is a much newer club than Wimbledon (established 1932, rather than 1889). Secondly, where are they now? Back in the bottom tier and playing in Milton Keynes.
