Re: Average home attendanc...
<t>The arrogance of a post that says, 'What have you ever done that's memorable?' is beyond belief. The story of a team that has risen from the Lancashire Combination and Cheshire Country Leagues, through alll four divisions to a top ten finish in the Premiership is unprecendented in British sport. ...

Re: Average home attendanc...
<t>5,000 to 10,000 were visiting supporters?! Chelsea brought 3,000 tops. The away end (North Stand) holds 5,000, end of story. Anyway, you should know that, seeing as Warrington and St Helens regularly fill it giving you your only crowds of the season that match Latics'.<br/> <br/> Warriors fans su...

Re: stewards jackets
<t>Um, you're starting to lose me now. There were 900 arrests but they weren't carried out by the police? What were they, citizens' arrests?<br/> <br/> And what's all this about no police at Latics matches? If that was the case Whelan wouldn't be seeing them in court for their ridicyulous £250,000....

Re: Average home attendanc...
<t>To avoid embaraassment, it's best not to calculate average attendances so early in the season, especially when you've had one freakishly high one (thanks to the 5,000 visitors from Warrington).<br/> <br/> For the record, the last two home attendances were higher than two of Latics' home games thi...

Re: stewards jackets
<t>Probably so many to stop the Latics fans fighting among themselves. I read on rlfans that they had 900 arrests at their games last season. Scumbags <br/> <br/> Hmm, rlfans, eh? That sounds like a reliable source for info about football. 900 arrests, you say? That's funny when stats for arrests in...

Re: Well done mike
As fir the lad on the blocked thread saying that Latics give free tickets away in schools, I'm told that at St Peter's they have a six-inch wad of tickets to give away to kids for every Warriors home match.

Re: Well done mike
Wow. Sleuthing powers to rival the great Holmes.Yu must be so proud of yourself. But what's all this talk of getting me banned? On the Latics messageboard there's always a little banter between the two codes.
