moved to wigan...

<t>Moved into a rented house in the 'higher end' area of Billinge yesterday after living on fylde coast for most of my life.<br/> <br/> Quite looking forward to shorter journeys to and from matches and perhaps catching a few reserves / academy games at Orrell.<br/> <br/> Currently working on the con...

Re: How many league props would survive in union?

<t>think this thread is a bit pointless (no offence).<br/> <br/> the two simply don't go at a high level- scrummaging takes ages to perfect and most league props simply aren't big enough.<br/> <br/> Union props aren't fit enough for league or are too big to make it back and forth 10m repeatedly, and...

Re: Typical Warrington Fans

<t>Hate wire fans with a passion- worst i've experienced, although that may be clouded by some 40-something who was offering a fight to everyone who passed him going out of the ground about 3 seasons ago- he had his 10 yr old son with him- scum.<br/> <br/> Also the Catalans semi did not help when so...

Re: SILVERWOOD U CHEAT

<t>If you think Silverwood was bad, you should have witnessed one 'Dave Merrick' who ref'd Blackpool Panthers v Oldham yesterday. He is shocking. He was inventing penalties yesterday to get Oldham back into the game. I was appalled and he got me seriously rattled which takes a bit.<br/> <br/> I thin...

Re: The blame game?

<r>getting back on topic...<br/> <br/> i don't have time to read all of your essay cpw, but picked up on the point you made about us being bad in wet weather. I simply just don't think the players adjust the tactics correctly (or should that be the coach who tells them what to do). We were the same ...

Re: More loan deals for our young players

Cool- thanks for info. Will see how he goes. Leather is top draw (for the league) and can't really see Reay moving him. More likely might play off bench as a utility back.

Re: More loan deals for our young players

Cpw, I read today that Sam Reay has just signed at Blackpool Panthers after being released at Leigh. Being a part-time Panthers fan, is he any good?

Re: All Credit To Brian Noble

<t>I love the way posts on here swing from one extreme to another- we lose (as we were doing earlier in the year) and people call for Noble's head.<br/> <br/> We put together a few wins and Noble is the best thing since sliced bread and we should sign him up.<br/> <br/> I don't particularly rate the...

Re: Stains on Friday

I'm going with markill- think the last time I went was THAT challenge cup game under Millward's reign- been traumatised from going ever since.

Let's hope Fri brings a better result...
