Re: Liam Byrne receives suspension ahead of Challenge Cup semi-final showdown

I think Byrne is a decent rotation player i cant see him being a top player but not everyone can be. He seems to get through a lot of work when he is on the field. The problem as i see it for Byrne is wigan have a very very good squad at the moment. This is probably the best squad they have had sinc...

Re: Keighran: Big challenge

He reminds me of a Joel Tomkins type player better than average and has a skill set but you can almost bank on a high tackle every match to varying severity

Re: Keighran: Big challenge

My only issue with Keighran is he always has a penalty in him and he could do with getting that bit of him game improved.

Other than that while not of the same class as King (who is one of the best in SL IMO) hes a good quality player

Sam Tomkins doc

Don’t know if this has been a topic but does anyone know where you can watch the Sam Tomkins film - the last chance

I know there were tickets to go watch a premier of it in feb but I can’t seem to find where you can get it now and it looked good on the trailer

Re: Warrington v Saints

I think its far too early in the season to be calling Saints a spent force. I think they have fallen into the trap Wigan did of replacing players a year or two too late. That said Welsby like him or not is one of the best fullbacks in the league, Makinson still one of the best wingers in the league...

I agree in principle though Tomkins started to breakdown barriers but then went to the NRL
I think the problem is sinfield has already stopped playing and is more linked with union now as he is a coach there for people new to his story

Re: Eddie Hearn on Rugby league

I’ve never watched cricket but I could name quite a few cricketers. Cricket in particular survives on the international aspect You need people to sell a sport to neutrals once your fan base is up you can then rely more of the product but a lot of people follow sports for the people and the stories I...
