Re: Bateman back

His shoulder concerns me. Personally I would have preferred Ryan Sutton back to the Club to replace Flower and more hopefully our London star. Doesn’t bother me, removed the spur from the other side at Wigan and went fine after, after the next is healed he should be fine, it’s not an injury it’s a ...

Re: Watching the Warriors

Every match, every week? I'm surprised they are going to fund that. I don't think they'll have much else live sport to show Mike, the current football season will have finished, they don't do club ru, and cricket will be ending (or rained off !). They are showing every NRL game live, so all togethe...

Re: Football wages - wow!

The principal reason Lenagan should have nothing to do with it but there is another very strong reason as well. Many years ago I was in the foyer out of season talking to Gary Connolly. Past us walked Emile Heskey, even then a former England international and Gary remarked that Heskey was no longer...

Re: Bateman back

His shoulder concerns me. Personally I would have preferred Ryan Sutton back to the Club to replace Flower and more hopefully our London star. Very worrying. I remember the interview he did on sky and he was days away from returning to training and weeks to his first game and it got injured again. ...

Re: Joe Burgess to Salford

I'm sure we have youngsters who can step in on the wing if needed? Hanley? Also Bibby and Gildart have played wing. Can probably count on one hand the number of times Gildart has played wing for the first team. Bibby played wing at Salford. Second option probably French to Wing and Hardaker back to...

Re: Joe Burgess to Salford

I hope he doesn’t go - I know he didn’t play that much recently but on his day he’s a cracking winger and we may be running short of options with only French to cover if needed? How often does he have these good days? When was the last time you could honestly say he had a run of games and played co...

Re: Bateman back

Have we got to the bottom of what’s happened with his contract out there?

First reports were he was looking elsewhere for more money.

Then it was Canberra couldn’t afford the 3rd year of his deal.

Now they apparently offered a deal to make him their highest paid player.

Re: Bateman back

If his shoulder is ok it's a great signing. There's confusion on social media that Hastings is not a marquee player and furthermore he's said he's going nowhere. Make what you like of that, I'm just the messenger! Why wouldn’t he be a marquee signing? Who else would it be this year currently as wel...
