Re: Silverwood calls for honesty from Sky pundit Cummings

Fair enough, Josie, but nevertheless, surely touch-judges are responsible for detecting forward passes? And I don't think they really do a good enough job. There are way too many forward passes in our game, especially from dummy-half. Where are you judging these forward passes from? Multiple angles...

Does anyone know how much of his salary actually counts on the cap? He must have dispensation for length of service and being a home grown player?
I am sure its only £5000 per home grown player that gets deducted up to a maximum of £100,000, so 20 players could potentially qualify.

Re: Talking RL: 'Why is Sean O'Loughlin held to a higher standard than other veteran forwards?'

Should just retire now. Takes up too much room in the squad for playing 20 minutes. Sorry Sean but now is the time his body and future is more important. How important is he at training and for the culture of the club? That’s something the fans will never truly know the value of. It’s very importan...

Re: Talking RL: 'Why is Sean O'Loughlin held to a higher standard than other veteran forwards?'

I do not think any has really been disputing his ability / performance when fit. Its his injury record over the last 3, maybe 4 years that is causing the discussions about him playing on too long and retiring. A lot of it comes down to salary cap. Is Lockers on X salary worth the 15-20 games a year...

Re: 19-man squad vs Hull KR

Because Sarg turned the club's offer down. Plus, Sarge originally wanted to go back to London. But with the growing likelihood of the Broncos being relegated, he had already made his decision to leave. So he signed for Salford. Good luck to Sarge, I hope all goes well For him at Salford and with hi...

Re: Using one less interchange

I do not have a problem with having Sammut on the bench if he gets used. He can come on for Powell or Tommy and one of them can move to hooker if required. This should only be the case if we plan to interchanges our hookers, if not, it is pointless. I do not advocate having a FB/W/C on the bench. If...

Hull are not half building a great team for 2020 on wards, as are we. Could be a very exciting year.

Re: Using one less interchange

Having Sammut on the bench was an absolute waste and similar circumstances should be avoided at all costs. Given our injury record and only 8 interchanges, we cannot afford it. Do other clubs put themselves in the same position? From memory, no. I know momentum can be lost when making subs, but I th...

Re: Win it?

The Hull win was most probably the highest profile win of our season. Until we beat Saints or Warrington, which we haven't done yet, I am not sure we have it in us. Especially now since losing Lockers. Do we have the ability to manage games properly? Know when to take risks, when not to ? When to ki...
