Re: Forward Pack

its a good point...... i wudda loved lam to come earlier( when wane was here) and just concentrate on our attack..... maybe would have made a difference....... we will probably never know What evidence do we have that Lam is a good attacking coach? Biggest losses we had was Deacon and Harris. I dis...

Re: Sarginson

Tried hard and does take up a lot of runs but his defence isn't good enough, he never passes to his winger and lacks rugby league IQ.

What are his try/assist numbers since being back at Wigan,? I don't know them but guessing he's never near the to centres in that department.

Re: Forward Pack

Many on here, myself included, thought that Wane's style of play was detrimental to our forwards. I.e. No running in pairs, leg drives, offloads, hitting the gaps/angles... Was he adapting his style to the players he had or has Wane and now Lam missed a trick its a good point...... i wudda loved la...

Re: Sean O'Loughlin to play on with Wigan Warriors in 2020?

Make him like we did with Deakin in the coaching staff and play if needed don't give him another 12 months . As soon as a player coach takes to the field his wages count on the cap and I mean all of them. I don’t get this notion of disloyalty suggesting its time he hung up his boots and that this m...

Frankly, with our current lack of discipline, dreadful defence and jumping out of the line to miss tackles, Anthony Gelling would fit back in perfectly.
His defence wasn't as bad as Sarginsons or Gildarts is.

Re: Gilly

Trouble is time and again Lenegan has let them leave so it’s become much easier to go,Leeds, wire,Saints they don’t have trouble keeping hold of their homegrown talent yet Wigan do Wire do have issues holding onto their youth.... its ours that they manage to keep hold off 🤣. On that note if budgie g...

Re: Lam going????

Just had a very interesting conversation with someone not involved with R L as a whole but who is working closely with Wigan s physio/ rehab / sports staff at present. Now this person comes from a country where Rl isn’t played , knows nothing about the game but has landed a good role with Wigan . W...

Re: Sean O'Loughlin to play on with Wigan Warriors in 2020?

Marquee Rule: They can only be considered if there salary would be 175k or more before the rule is applied. It’s £75,000 that counts on the cap if club trained, £150,000 if not. The club could pay Lockers £80k if it wanted and “only” £75k would count on the cap. Obviously a silly thing do but the r...

Re: Other teams signing players!

They have played to the rules, what is the issue?

Would it be an issue if they moved a current Wing/Centre to Halfback and signed a Wing/Centre with the dispensation cap money to cover?
