Re: Sky

Playing devil's advocate, why would Sky push Rugby League any more than they are?

Their opinion of Rugby League and viewing numbers was obvious when the post match analysis got cut by 30 minutes for WWE wrestling to start.

Re: Marshall extends deal

You say Smithies "only just come out of the woodwork" - he's actually been here as an Academy product for around 5+ years. So if that isn't "succession planning" I don't know what is, and the same can be said of the other youngsters in the same age bracket, like Smith, Borough (sp), Byrne, Partingt...

Re: Marshall extends deal

Of course, it's very pleasing to see him signing this extension, his general form and improvement over the last year or two has been great to see, and definitely sees him go above JB. What we have to remember though, is for every deserving contract extension we make to these young stars, like Harva...

Blake Austin on the wing

It has just popped into my head randomly that "The world's greatest RL coach" allowed that to happen.

It is literally unbelievable, shambolic and embarrassing.

Re: Sam Powell

Better to start a tackling hooker and bring an impact hooker off bench meds...... tommy is perfect ( bench)and keep smith at 7 What clubs still do this? What clubs have ever actually done it for a prolonged period and had success? Other than saints with KFC/Roby and Leeds occasionally doing it with...

No Widdop I see, more to the point no Hastings. Can we naturalise Bevan French?
Wane was never going to pick someone born in Aus that qualifies through a grand parent that’s lived in Australia for 50 years.

Good on him for leaving out people like Widdop and Lockers.

Re: Wells & Kilner loaned to Toronto

On any loan deal the parent club continue to pay the players salary, they then invoice the club to whom the player is loaned an agreed amount on a monthly basis. Under a live salary cap there would therefore be no benefit to the club through a reduction in wage bill. Unless a rule was allowed to an...

Re: Where’s Wigan’s offload gone.

What worries me is not our offloading game but the fact that the opposition seem to do it for fun. We need to stop the wrestle whilst holding a player up and wrestle when the player is grounded. It is about finding balance. 2-3 players in the tackle, holding upright is a ploy to slow play down, all...

England Rugby League & Haka

Can anybody help dig out the video when England or GB walked forward towards the Haka?

Seem to remember players like Graham and Peacock being involved.

Thanks
