Re: Bateman to wire
Bateman and yates mmmmm.Bet they didnt both come cheap Salary Cap, what Salary Cap? They have got Bullock out on loan at Salford, but his wage comapred to the incomming players will, presumably, be far less. They also have Fitzgibbon as a long term injury, who presumably, they are still paying!!! C...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull FC (R18)
I can understand where the RFL are going with the high tackles; although I think some of the yellows and reds are too harsh in a lot of situations. But the O Neil tackle and Dupree one, this is just trying to sanitise and protect the sport too much. Its a contact sport, there will be injuries and yo...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull FC (R18)
Terrible team performance.
Smith cost us that. Far far too many times he was kicking early on in the tackle for no need.
He isn’t young anymore, he’s experienced, there’s no excuse, it isn’t good enough.

Re: Liam Byrne
Seems to me like the only people who can’t let go of the Sam Powell posts are not the ones who had an issue with him Anyways we cannot have a team in which everyone is good enough - so someone is always likely to be bottom or towards the bottom of that pile and right now it’s probably Byrne That sa...

Re: DISCIPLINARY
I get where the RFL have gone with the head contact - like it or not, its here to stay. Where I have issue is: The Cooper sin bin - the player slipped, what could Cooper have done? Wasn't even a penalty imo The Matt Dufty sin bin - Its a penalty, not a sin bin The O Neil tackle - I cannot fathom thi...

Re: Welsby
I've just watched the game back and couldn't believe that the commentators didn't give him any stick for his behaviour after his try. He could have started a riot baiting the crowd like that. I'm sure Sam Tomkins was fined for something similar against Leeds in the past. I understand that players g...

Re: Farrimond
I think Jack needs to improve his tackling technique and develop physically. A spell at hooker, like Williams, would do him good. I am sure the off-season will see him put a few pounds on. Training will improve his technique, not throwing him into a new position. In addition, defending as a hooker ...

Re: Liam Byrne
Hasn’t kicked on and taken things to the next level and may have possibly gone backwards. If Hill continues his progression you would expect Byrne to be heading somewhere like Leigh or Salford soon. He runs too upright, which is a huge issue and probably isn’t going to be resolved now. This is why h...
