Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)

Good win in the end. Positives - Impact of Leeming and Mago - Havards minutes, defence, and obvious size he has put on - Wardle and Keighran Negatives - Unforced errors - (Miski, Nsemba, ONeil spring to mind) - Byrne - Not kicking on, not improving, doesn't make a dent in attack - Smith and French c...

Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)

One problem we have in attack is the ball going from O Neil, to Smith to French to someone else without any dummy runners. Shifting the ball this way makes it easy for the defence to number up man for man and defend against. It’s why Field and our centres and wingers although getting the ball a lot ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)

Thompson's not stood out for me in terms of making an impact going forward. I expected more. His work rate is exceptional, but as you say I also expected more, he doesn't appear to be the block busting forward I remember from his Stains days. Probably more due to Wigans style of play and strategy. ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)

Lovely defence from Keighran. Not!!! Wasn't Keighran. Nsemba. Gildhart is expert at those situations Are you watching a different game. Nsemba was nowhere near the action. It was Keighran who was left flat footed and created the gap for Gildart. Did Gildart go on Keighrans inside or outside?

Not sure what the purpose of the signing, offers nothing in attack, little in defence and doesn't kick goals
Who should we have got instead?

Re: Isa

Agreed.

If he is out for the season, we would be stupid not to explore the option of de-registering him so we can free up his cap space.

Re: CCSF

There’s lots of moaning about venue choice without actually knowing if another stadium like Huddersfield is even available…

They should just play it at the home teams ground as per the draw.

Re: Squad v Castleford

A game easily forgotten about frankly,Wigan need to start upping their game a nadge because while Can are a very poor side much better teams are coming into view now so games such as these should really be used as a stepping stone towards the better sides in super league. Good to see Mike Cooper ba...

Re: Charting the remarkable rise of Wigan Warriors’ proud Cumbrian prop Harvie Hill

the potential of this current pack is actually quite frightening, and could be our pack for the next few years, with a little bit of smart recruitment / development of youth we have Thompson, Dupree, Cooper and Havard, that you would see as the starting 4 when all fit. Mago, Byrne, Hiil and Chan. E...
