Re: Isa
Any updates on Willie yet anybody? Doubt he will be back - Fracture dislocations of the ankle are a serious injury and its the one that Mcllorrum got all those years ago. It is 6 months from his injury to the grand final, so any slim chance of him being back would basically be right at the start of...

Re: Havard: In a good place
Looks to have gained some size this year as well.
Frightening potential and already an incredible player considering his age and the fact props normally peak at an older age than other positions.
Finger crossed his injuries are behind him.

Re: Tiaki Chan's Hull FC attitude earns Matt Peet's attention with loan decision made
I wonder how accomodation works when players go on loan to clubs that are too far to travel everyday. If a player is on a low salary and has mortgage/rental agreement in Wigan, they surely cannot be expected to travel to Hull everyday or rent their own property there. Who would pay and how does it w...

Re: John Bateman named among players Wests Tigers willing to release as part of 'clean-out mission'
If willie does retire then we need a top aussie backrower like cartwright off parra.Hes a bit in the mould of Ryan Hoffman We’ve got Nsemba & Walter’s in the back row, why do we need to go for another Aussie player? It will be very difficult to replace Isa in the context of his experience, vers...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Ryan Halls walking off the pitch. Tanya Arnold - are you agreeved by some of the refs decisions.. Then Wilken on about the forward pass that was missed. Come on BBC how is that any form of commentary for a CC semi final. There's been plenty to look at in the match around skill from both sides but c...

Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)
Good win in the end. Positives - Impact of Leeming and Mago - Havards minutes, defence, and obvious size he has put on - Wardle and Keighran Negatives - Unforced errors - (Miski, Nsemba, ONeil spring to mind) - Byrne - Not kicking on, not improving, doesn't make a dent in attack - Smith and French c...

Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)
One problem we have in attack is the ball going from O Neil, to Smith to French to someone else without any dummy runners. Shifting the ball this way makes it easy for the defence to number up man for man and defend against. It’s why Field and our centres and wingers although getting the ball a lot ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
Thompson's not stood out for me in terms of making an impact going forward. I expected more. His work rate is exceptional, but as you say I also expected more, he doesn't appear to be the block busting forward I remember from his Stains days. Probably more due to Wigans style of play and strategy. ...
