Re: Salford fixture has been re-arranged
Surely they have to also move the Hull KR game to Thursday or else they could field a weakened team on the Friday if Wigan win and the league is gone? Surely the squads will already have been announced before KR know Wigans result so no way will they be able to field a weakened side. And going off ...

Re: Salford fixture has been re-arranged
Also the south stand bar will be closed to Wigan Warriors fans as there is a Darts tournament being played! Why is it always Wigan? The amount of money the club will now lose will be ridiculous as they will lose corporate as well as sponsors! Plus the amount of people who won’t/can’t attend now bec...

Most successful teams, across all sports, have unsung hero’s / players that go under the radar to other fans. Ellis is the type of player who you don’t notice in one off games. But when you see him week in week out, realise his minutes, realise his tackling and running numbers and how he links the a...

They’d only drop to 3rd if they lose and Warrington win their next 2 and overcome a big points difference of 82.

Re: Squads for Friday
I don't believe we do it as an organised tactic, hence our success at following up kicks and tackling the receiver near the line. Thompson in our forwards is especially good at staying onside and thus being able to tackle the receiver without waiting. Everyone goes offside at a kick occasionally - I...

Re: New players.
from a squad perspective we are in a very good position with some key players on longer term contracts which allows for stability and for us to tweak the team as opposed to some quite major changes over recent years With Field, French, Smith, Miski, Wardle, Marshall, Thompson, Leeming, O'Neill, Nse...

Re: Saints announce increased losses for financial year 2023
Sky have shown they are willing to spend money if the demand and viewership is there.
At the end of the day Sky are a business, will act in their best interest and it isn’t upto them to grow the sport.
Any fingers being pointed should be at the RFL and Super League teams leadership/owners.

Re: Penalty Stats
The fact that we have conceded most penalties, and the two teams closest to us have conceded least leads to one of two conclusions: • Refs are biased against us. • We have a deliberate policy of playing "close to the edge". No-one will be convinced to change their mind, but I think it's t...
