Re: Luther Burrell

Excited to see how he ends up after reading the below article. I know it’s only one article but comes across as a good guy with a good assessment of where he is and what he needs to do. Well done Warrington for not only using a salary cap exemption but also to maybe start off a trend of more Union ...

Re: Where is it going wrong?

That's the reason. Just think if we'd kept Tomkins, Bateman and Sutton, plus signed Hardacker and Greenwood, how strong out squad would be. couldn't have because of salary cap I find that a far too convenient an excuse fuji. Whatever happens when players go - salary cap, can't recruit - salary cap,...

Re: Where is it going wrong?

We have by far the best academy and junior set up in Super League. Our ability to produce international players is fantastic although this approach is somewhat diminished by selling the same players. We should be there or thereabouts every season but we are not! What is the problem? My view is that...

Re: Why this moment may prove a turning point in Wigan Warriors' season

This was one of the key moments which prompted Wigan to address their resilience as they attempt to breathe life into their faltering Super League campaign. The Warriors trailed 8-6 in their Nou Camp showdown with Catalans when, early in the second-half, Liam Marshall blazed over in the right corne...

Re: Big Announcement on Thursday ... apparently

Just seen this on rlfans My mate is works at the RFL. Just told me Hastings is a done deal with Tautai going the other way. Lam doing one more year. He also said Watkins going to Hull. Burgess was offered a year by Wigan and turned down 3 year deal at Hull to stay at Wigan and fight for a longer co...

Re: Jake bibby

I will tell you this A former chief executive of the Wigan Warriors walked away from sport with more than a little money that NEVER saw the light of day on the club books. Simply walked into the club shop in the galleries and emptied the tills and when questioned he muttered" nothing to do with the...

Re: Jake bibby

I am not sure it’s fair to say slightly worse. Rather, it would be slightly better. What we are not seeing is any reason to get excited. Unless you love new shirts, there has been absolutely nothing in the last 6 months which counts as a reason to feel positive about the club. With plenty of reason...
