Re: relegation

It’s not debate though! 😡 https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/debate Depends on your interpretation of "debate" An argument about a particular subject, especially one in which many people are involved. I would offer some advice. Don't read the thread if it offends or upsets you If you don'...

Re: Club Statement: Shaun Edwards

Sorry Caboose, l usually agree with you (as a fellow Happy Clapper) but I'm totally with DaveO and Ian B on this. Shaun has done nothing here that anybody in the ssme position wouldn't do. He wouldn't have agreed to come in the first place if he was just up for the best paid job. As for your comment...

Re: Williams- it’s now Official (according to the WEP)

An old un, but worth repeating:

Q: What's the difference between Australia and a yogurt?

A: Leave a yogurt in the sun for over 200 years and it grows a culture.

Re: Shaun Edwards, Welsh RU Coach

The fact Edwards has said the club told him they would sign a contract later has left me incredulous. What on earth is IL playing at? Organising a press conference, parading Edwards as the coach for 2020 and he didn’t sign a contract? Rank stupidity. The idea he did this just in case Lam was succes...

Re: Shaun Edwards, Welsh RU Coach

Don't want to get into a pointless argument, but, just for the record, we don't all agree about Sam Powell. I wouldn't rate him as best in the comp, but he's been an essential part of our *Championship-winning* team. Wane's strength was developing a structure around players' abilities rather than s...

Back to the op, i posted this under General RL a few days ago

Even Guscott appreciates SE's coaching skills! I don't watch Union, but the moves and defensive strategies seem similar to League.

Re: 19-man vs Warrington

I'd guess that 2 from Hankinson, Partington and Shorrocks will miss out, with the other on the bench. If Sarge is slightly doubtful of lasting 80 mins, could be Hankinson on bench. Hardaker Davies Gildart Sarge *Escaré* Williams Sammut Clubb Leuluai Flower Greenwood Isa Lockers Navarrete Bullock Ha...

Re: How can Rugby League be grown?

I also agree with Mike's comments about trying to make the game more open. As defences get better organised and fitness improves, the rules need to be tweaked to keep that balance between attack and defence, and to encourage risk-taking, adventurous play. But the quality of play alone won't pull in ...
