Re: Mike Danson

"What's that, Ian? You want me to buy Wigan? Do you mean the town or the rugby team?"
"Oh, go on then. Is a cheque ok?"
"I've heard that Latics are for sale too. I might as well have two for the price of one - my Mum always said I was a sucker for a bargain."

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)

I hadn't thought about Broadbent being cup-tied. He's been good for them from what I've seen. You can look at us missing Byrne and Isa, but our squad strength goes much deeper than theirs, which should help us in what should be a tight game. I'm looking forward to seeing Walters debit, but this is n...

Re: BBC coverage questioned after underwhelming viewing figures

I was pleased when I heard that BBC would be covering SL, but i've missed more games than I've seen on BBC this season. I'm rarely aware that they are on, as there is no regular time/day or even channel, and no publicity. I use the BBC website to check fixtures. Couldn't they just add brackets with ...

Re: Wigan squad for Huddersfield (R11)

Hi all, don’t post much but check in regularly - keep up the good work 👍 Just a note on Byrne, please don’t be sharpening the pitchforks just yet. All our props offer something slightly different, Havard & Thompson big minutes, with Mago & Dupree high impact off the bench. Byrnes is arguabl...

Re: Wigan squad for Huddersfield (R11)

Our attack is non existent. We only play one man rugby. Bevan and Smith doesn’t work. We need a new attack coach. Can only see a lose here That's jobs for the boys for you 8-) 48-6 final score, top of the league with a game in hand, best points difference, WCC in the bag, CC semi final to come and ...

Re: The Brick Community Stadium

As someone who hasn't lived in the area for many a year, and therefore unaware of what "the Brick" is, I have to say that it sounds a bit weird at first.

I'm more than happy to see the back of any link with DW, and hope that The Brick get more recognition as a charity through this.

Re: Hull KR CLUB STATEMENT: P&O FERRIES

Just to update this thread, I noticed this on the BBC website today: The boss of P&O Ferries has admitted that he couldn't live on the £4.87 an hour some of its crew are paid, he told MPs. Peter Hebblethwaite also revealed that he earned more than £500,000 last year, including a bonus. https://w...

The Saints shuffle?
Or semi-scousers shuffle might be better?
