Re: George Burgess

Just heard John Kear giving big raps to Mike Rush as being the one behind the set-up/recruitment etc at Saints. We have Radlinski - Lovely bloke - remembers players' mother's birthdays, and so on - but every bit as responsible for where we are as Rush is for Saints. Until he is replaced, nothing wil...

Re: Zak Hardaker’s future ‘up in the air’ as new twist develops

https://www.rugby-league.com/article/55284/transfers--overseas-and-nft-players Above link confirms that, as of 9 July 2019, Tommy was classed as an overseas/non-Federation trained player by the RFL. Can't imagine anything has changed since then. I always thought, based on hearsay, that he was Fed-t...

Would gladly do, but don't travel over there that often, especially in closed season, I'm afraid, so maybe somebody nearer? Just looked it up under Hindley Cemetery Index on very irritating Wigan World website. Sydney Ab...

Re: Mitch Clark

Good point! Doesn’t that now mean we have filled every spot rather than having 1 spare? Tommy, Ellis, Field, French, Mago, Miski, Isa At one time, iirc, Tommy didn't count on the quota because he came through as a youngster in the UK. Was this cancelled when he went to NZ? Or have the rules changed...

Re: Mitch Clark

Does his salary / pay off count on next years cap? If so, not paving the way for anything is it? Doesn't it reduce the oversea quota? Good point! Re: The Pink city

Good luck to Toulouse. The aim should be a French TV deal, either to supplement Sky diminishing returns, or to let the two French teams have the income and share Sky's money between the 8 remaining teams (from 2023). As to the question "What about Salford, Wakey, Huddersfield etc?"....if w...
