Re: Speak English Brian Noble

<t>Reading some of the comments above they give support to the view that putting opinions on blogs only gives license to those who can't speak for themselves any other way. I can't imagine any of the above words would be spoken face to face and in fact they are extraordinarily rude.<br/> No-one list...

Re: Poor crowd?

<t>Actually the crowd was great with lots of buzz and atmosphere. It's just that it wasn't as big as for the same game last year (21K+). It's a concern both for Wigan and the Rugby League. Personally I wonder if the penalty marathons that marred the start of the season were partly to blame, and whil...

Re: 6000 missing fans

<t>Alex the warrior says he doesn't know what right I have to criticize. Well, the answer is no more than anyone else, but given some of the views expressed here on the team/club/players/management etc. I am hardly alone in expressing a view when it's felt to be appropriate. <br/> Everyone's circums...

Re: 6000 missing fans

Well, 4 of us made it from Staffordshire. The point is not to have a pop at those who didn't make it, but it's disappointing. Some have said we'll be there in force on Friday "when it really matters". It always matters - if you don't care then you won't win - whatever the competition.

6000 missing fans

<t>It's only the second time Wigan have ever broken through the three figure ceiling, but a disappointing crowd saw it. Surely it must be worth coming to watch the first team in any competition, and Sam's debut was definitely worth seeing. Shame on those "18" shirt wearers who had other things to do...

Re: Nobby signs new deal

<t>Shaun Edwards may be interested in a job in the future, or may not. Either way he hasn't got a track record in league, and his coaching has all been for the dark side. Nobby on the other hand has a good track record in the Greatest Game of All, and hasn't gone over to work for Darth Vader. <br/> ...

Re: Barrett will ....

Whether or not it's playing away, he's away from Wigan. All the doubters look like they are right and he's off to OZ at the end of the season. Pity that as he was getting to be quite good wearing cherry and white.
Still, if his heart's no longer in Wigan . . .

Re: Just got back

<t>I agree, there were a small group of South Standers giving it large, and no, I never heard anything profane. Well done!<br/> It's just their efforts were diluted by the lack of numbers around, which was a pity. <br/> We were impressed by Mossop's debut, but not sure I share the cynicism expressed...

Re: Just got back

<t>I don't know whether it was really like an A team match, but considering that we have over 10K season ticket holders the turnout today was very poor. The lowest for some years and not fair on the teams or the Wigan club's good name. Yes it wasn't ever going to be a Saints derby atmosphere, but co...

Actually there's a "but" missing before Lenagan's quote!
