also i think the next round is played the week after we play saints, which i think is during the away block while the football damaged pitch is repaired

the slippery slope seems to be getting steeper, where will it all stop before it destroys the game? perhaps when every player is wearing inflatable spheres and throwing a fluffy, cushioned ball (as we wouldnt want an increase in wrist and hand injuries)

i wouldn't even limit to that particular season because that could translate as a grand final being a free for all. the +1 game ban should be attached to the player for the next time that player plays against the team violated . this would be problematic if said player ended up signing for the team ...

would it also be useful if for whatever term ban is given that 1 match of the ban has to be served against the team that the player actioned the violation?
